heres another one, wheels are 17x9 +22 all round.

thanks

Thats awesome

Wow got any more photos, best 33 since granthem's

Haha cheers mate! Hope it doesn't change your opinion, but mines currently undergoing some cosmetic surgery :D

Combination of changing the cars style (since I think the Enkeis suited the more "racey" look, but the meister will be more suited to less lairyness) and the fact I hated by stupid fibreglass front bar with a passion.

Felt like doing a timeline of my car after seeing granthem's post

Car when i bought it

Eventually scraped walls and stitched it up

Changed Stitching Pattern and Rattle canned the scrap so it looked cleaner

Smashed it into a tyre stack at Wakefield Drift Day, borrowed a drill and repaired it between sessions

Solve the puzzle

Good as new with about 50 cable ties later

Thought the front bar would attract too much unwanted attention so got a full kit for 200 bucks and came with this trust front bar

IMG_0234.jpg

Got defected so went for a more stock looking car

IMG_0340.jpg

Got sick of people saying red front bar looks dodgy and also saw old pictures of my car

So painted the front bar white and also got a lip

IMG_0369.jpg

Wanted a cleaner look so painted the front lip

Takz your timeline is insane. You can;'t be called a hardparker thats for sure!

While my new bars are being painted, my best mate spend some time doing some paint correction on the whale.

Results are below :D (crappy iphone pics, but you get the gist of it - im super happy!)

Visionary genius :D

And thanks for making me regret selling my RPF1's blags!

Alright guys, got ma new grillz (Nelly voice) - what do you think? I'm fairly diggin it. Its only a test fit, not all clips are on the grill so its sitting abit funny

The grill is a series 2 4 door item. Don't see many of them so I snapped it up.

Its missing some clips off the back tho. God knows whew I am gonna find any to replace em with. I was thinking panel beaters would require new clips frequently?

cable ties brah

I have a pack of my highest quality black cable ties at the ready as a last resort!

If you wanna sell the grill let me know! haha

Haha took me a while to find it actually! Hoping it matches my 4 door grills under my foggies well :D

If it doesnt - its yours

few pics of my car atm. not 100 complete, bar is just sitting on there. got a Bond cage to go in it and quite a few other odds and ends, brake ducting etc new oil cooler. its registered (was my daily for 3 years) but wont be seing much road use now, hoping to do all the hillclimbs in Tas next year and all the suppersprints plus a few private days, should see atleast one event per month and atleast one small road outing a fortnight in the nice weather =D

cheers

    • Hopefully it ends up being something manageable, like a hone, rather than a full bore—it would be a huge relief if it’s not as bad as it looks. Hang in there; these setbacks are annoying, but it sounds like you’re handling it as smartly as possible.
    • At the end of the day, it’s all about understanding the odds and being comfortable with the potential cost, whether it’s horsepower on a build or chips on a roulette table. And I have to say, the Laine example made me laugh—some people really do embrace that carefree, “roll and see” attitude!
    • Thanks MBS206, i got that PDF but got abit overhelm with all the connections and tracing of wires. I wasn't expecting to plug the dash harness anywhere. i was just going to use my electronics jumper wires to plug into the right pins like ECU power, ecu ground, ignition trigger etc... I do have a few ratchet straps locking it down tight. Fire extinguisher ready and only a small amount of fuel at a time, enough to submerge the pump.
    • Thanks GTSBoy, i will do abit more digging. I am missing a blue relay near the ECU connector... so i will chase that up in the next few days as well
    • https://yariksteel.ru/manual/R33/Skyline_R33_elektroprovodka.pdf   Page 18 should be what you want for the Dash Cluster wiring. Though, you don't need the dash plugged in to get the motor running. What you want is power as how GTSBoy said. You need to power the ECU. Find in the above link the ECU pin outs (Verify them before just connecting them up from things written on the internet). Find anything needing power, give it power, find anything needing ground, give it ground. Then give the starter motor power through a big cable, and bridge the solenoid on the starter straight to power too.  ECU will be on, and when you give the starter power, it'll spin the starter motor, and it should start. I also hope you have a proper stand, and not just the engine sitting on some wood. You will want it bolted down properly.
