mad082
do the cooler and up the boost first. otherwise if you get the pfc first, when you do the other things you will have to pay to get it retuned. also, with the r32's you can get the stock ecu remapped, which gives good gains, and is cheaper than a PFC. Busky2k
No. Get a FMIC and then a PowerFC or a Dr Drift remap! Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/131970-whats-next/#findComment-2443918 Share on other sites

mad082
i use a hybrid cooler. they are about $1000. there is the gtek kits on here for about $400 i think. a few people have used them and seem to be happy. Kennedy
GKteck Cooler with piping (600 X 300 X 76) = $400 Turbotech Boost Controller - $35.00 R33 turbo maybe and remap :-) Then start saving for a HD clutch as the stocker wont last long with increased KW Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/131970-whats-next/#findComment-2444643 Share on other sites
Beer Baron
my advice is save a few bucks so you can do it once, and do it right. when you have enough money I would do these things together. 1. cheap FMIC kit or ARC side mount (enables you to leave your front bar standard) 2. second hand R33 turbo, or high flow turbo ($300 for the 33 turbo, or around $800-$1400 for HF) 3. Power FC + tune, or standard ECU re-tune 4. boost controller ($30 for bleed valve, up to $500 for brand name EBC) doing all this at once would be the way I would do. Cool Hand Luke
With my car, i did in this order. Fixed everything that was running incorrectly Bleed valve, which gave me som extra power FMIC, which gave me SFA power increase. The only increase was probably a placebo effect RB25 turbo, which was an awesome upgrade. Dr Drift ecu, which gave the best gain out of everything Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/131970-whats-next/#findComment-2445008 Share on other sites

But with the FMIC you say get a cheap one is there not much of a difference cauz i was thinking to get hybrid. would that be a waste of money?? And are you saying i cannot keep my stock front bar if i get a FMIC insted of a side mount?? mad082
you just have to modify the front bar to fit any FMIC in. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/131970-whats-next/#findComment-2446132 Share on other sites
