See Jimbo. We would have been screwed either way.

I saw another accident closer to home. Only one car, spun out and hit the wall on General Home Drive, ended up facing the opposite way. He was ok.

I got home at 4. Car seems to be ok. All the water came out of the air vents and the paper towels did the trick on the passenger side carpet. Found water in the boot too from a small leak somewhere. Nothing to worry about.

Yeah that accident looked really bad. Hope no one was killed.

I was going like 40kmh in some sections of the Parkway. Geez it pissed down.

you went up the wakehurst? i thought you went the same way as me - up powderworks and back onto mona vale rd.

Whats the dudes name in the red series 2 that left early? hope he wasn't the one that crashed...

I saw you coming back down Mona Vale Rd Christian, you flashed several times but I only saw ur plates @ the last minute and didnt get a chance to flash back......

I agree with Ben, the parkway was atrocious........ I need to put my demisters on steroids........

Is that where you went. There was some other bloke in a R32 that was fanging around too. Maybe thats who your saw when I was on the phone to you.

Isnt it great when its pissing down rain and your driving with 0 visability and some bloke drives towards you with his highbeams on (lights).

And then you have the light marks stuck in your eyes for the next 5 minutes.

um... no.

yeh christian :) was good to finally meet you too :)

I think more late night beaches cruises are in order :)

George, I have demisters that hardly work.... ahh well I'll just add it to the list of stuff for Toyota to fix :)

two40:

Nah, christian and nick took a look at my lights but from what nick remembers of his s2, there is only one plug and it can only go in one way. sometime next week i'll take it to Envy during my lunch time to get it fixed.

I left early friday night (you probably saw me turn around two40 (since i was next to you)). I had to get up in 3 hours for work.

I also saw ronin, another skyline - maybe it was jimbo?, and nick (who was looking directly at my car trying to figure out if he knew me). They were all stop at the lights close to the start of mona vale road.

Just wondering, when did Jimbo turn up and what was his excuse for being late?

Christian: I quite like your rear bar... after following you along monavale rd It grew on my quite quickly.

Bwahaha, I turned up right when everyone was leaving the carpark, Moanie was going the wrong way, but I saw Tosh infront pulled over so I assumed everyone was pulling out ready to go so I zoomed infront of him and then when Nick flew past I thought we must be going ...

Little did I know wthat Nick and Tosh were heading elsewhere. Decided to turn on the CB to see if we were still using chan 25 due to 33 being a repeater and I heard Nick and Tosh talking about me following them so decided to butt in and thankfully Tosh decided he'd come out to show us the way :D

As for excuse, ummmmm, blame it on the rain ? :)

    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
    • Any going to watch World Time Attack at SMSP this year?
    • Appreciate the correction on the "ground", that will make a huge difference to looking at this. That makes complete sense about AF70/AF71 which is what I had come down to being the issue, one of these. I'll have another look in the ignition wiring when I get a chance next week. I'll also make up a jumper wire for running that AF73 test.  ECU is fine, relay itself is fine, pump harness is fine and the pump itself is fine. I am going to upgrade the Walbro 255 anyway with a DW300 I have since I need to replace the fuel sender and I'm going to upgrade the FPR with my chasebays kit ready for new plenum/injectors/dbw, but I'll get this working first. That's why this is so frustrating.
