666DAN
It's not too big a job, I managed to swap turbo's on my 34 in a few hours. If you're putting a new one on, remember to get a nice new gasket. 13thracer
pretty easy job if you alittle mechanically minded only thing id suggest is crc or wd40 the bolts before undoing them you dont want a snapped stud and also when refitting the banjo bolts for the lines besure you dont cross thread them on the way in, took me alittle over an hour to have mine off and back on Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/135477-removing-the-turbo/#findComment-2520926 Share on other sites
MANWHORE
I'd say only do it if you have a bit of experience iwth removing tough bolts. You need to feel the bolts so that you know to only remove it if it's willing to come out. If not, more wd40/penetrene and let it sit. Also, if you have a mechanical mind, then you should be right. e.g. look at the engine, yep, this needs to come out coz this is in the way, etc etc. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/135477-removing-the-turbo/#findComment-2521928 Share on other sites
