just an update on the performance on these parts,

i got dyno info from a customer with a r33 gtst today, and after replacing the stock dump/front pipe and cat with the split dump/front pipe and catco metal cat, he got a increase of 32kw @ wheels. thats an excellent power gain, and it shows that our figures with the r32 gtst were also tested correctly, as we got an increase of 26kw @ wheels on our r32 gtst test car.

cheers

Cool, look forward to getting my split pipe and metal catco cat. Maybe I should see if I can get a power run on a dyno before I install them and after to see increase!!

put me down for a split dump pipe for r34 GTT coupe

out of curiousity how much saving are we getting (are the prices on your website freight inclusive??)

Is the only difference between the R33 and R34 pipes length? and how much difference in length is there?

I bought an R33 split dump a while back from you for a Stagea, and it does fit, but is a little too short, plus the stagea has the bracket that supports the pipe from the gearbox.

thank you for the payments guys. could all in the list who are still going ahead with the GB organise your payment to be sent by friday this week. this way most pipes will be sent out next week.

beastien,

hi yes the length is different (r34 is longer), about a 20-30cm difference, and also the pipe curves differently toward the cat and the cat side flange comes on at a different angle. the r34 pipe also has a bracket welded to it, whereas the r32/r33 pipe doesnt.

cheers

Cheers mate, sound like the R34 pipe wouldn't fit at all then, might just have to get mine lengthened a bit, it's only short by about 20-30mm.

pipes will be sent out early next week. many of you will get them before next weekend. i will keep the list updated as the parts get sent.

cheers guys

hey batmbl,

just paid then from Anz bank it should show up tomorro i guess because i got in before 5

thanks

Simon

pm sent with post details.

hi Batmbl,

curious do we get gaskets to fit the cat to the front pite and the cat to the catback? also the gasket to the wastegate and turbo?

cheers

SKY 34,

If you have purchased a cat, the cats come with 3" gaskets, so you would use them for the front pipe side and for the cat-back side. The turbo gasket is not supplied, but 95% of the time the original nissan gasket is re-used unless its leaking or not in good cond.

cheers

    • Seems like a decent result for a modded JZX110. They are bulky in comparison to the 100 and 90 models (which I'd prefer myself) but they are getting very few and far between here in JP these days. Thanks for the detailed review and the import process into the UK. I also have a car which I'm hoping to export from Japan at some stage so it's good to know if someone from the UK was interested in it. By the way the corrosion underneath is par for the course for cars which were located in/near the mountains or along the Japan sea coastline. They get huge amounts of snow every winter and the sodium chloride is used on the roads. Many cars have some kind of rubber like treatment underneath but they tend to limit it to the wheel arches underbody and fuel tank. Suspension arms and sub-frames will have similar corrosion to your JZX110 which is a common sight. See it all the time and car dealers here generally don't even mention it unless asked.
    • If the sound goes away when you clutch in, the 1.5/2 way diffs are just shit, and you are a normal person. The diff is likely "fine" but driving at anything under 30kmh is a violent horrible experience. It would be exaggerated with solid diff bushings and subframe bushings if you have those.
