Hi,

The guards are wider, so the front bar will probably need some work to get it to fit, ive seen GTR bonnets go on GTST's without issue though

If you're in Sydney, i have a bonnet going very cheap if you havnt already found one

The bonnet fits, just need the gtr bonnet latch for the front (and the grill if you want).

The side skirts will need work too, as the gtr rear and front guards are wider. Just put the gtst side skirts on, they look better anyway IMHO.

The front bar fits but not perfectly, many people on these forums have done this. The big plus from using a genuine GTR front bar (as opposed to a fibreglass GTR copy designed fot GTSt) is that it is made from plastic and therefore a million times stronger.

who has a picture of GTR skirts?

Because of have normal type m skirts on my GTST, and I have seen GTR's with a sort of mudflappy looking thing added on top.. wouldn't mind getting one...

I'm trying to work out if all GTR's have this, or just some

The mudflap thing you're talking about is probably the Nismo rear skirt. Option from Mr Nissan, standard on the Nismo edition GTRs.

You can buy them but it'd be a little tricky to fit to your rear skirt Rylan, cause the GTR rear quarters are fatter.

MR Nissan? im not familiar with any place to get these parts from. Im from sydney..st george area. Any got any suggestions? i need a bonnet 100%, and gtr front bar and grille.

thanks for ur suggestions guys!! much appreciated!!

For reference, new GTR front bars are available from Mr Nissan for around $400-$500, depending on your mates rates.

Might be worth a look if you're paying $300 for fibreglass

Yep. You'd be best off to join the SAU NSW club (hint, hint) so you can receive trade/club discounts and you'll also know who to talk to at which Nissan. Otherwise, you'll no doubt have some older guy who wants your VIN and then tells you that VIN doesn't exist and you can't have parts, then tell you the Skyline parts aren't made anymore, etc.

Talk to the right guy and you'll have a genuine front bar in two weeks.

Oh yeah, 180_mph touched on a good point, you'll need a GTR front reinforcement bar or you'll have to cut up your GTSt one. I'd go to a wreckers or SAU for sale to find a used front reo bar.

    • Don't even try to run it on the stock ECU if you're going to have the boost controller bring boost above ~10 psi. I've already told you that. If you use the Nistune ECU, you will need to CAREFULLY read the available documentation for Neo tuning, and read some threads on the Nistune forums, to discover the various things you have to do to prevent the ECU from going bananas when the boost is too high. The is a table associated with th boost sensor that must be modified to prevent it from shitting the bed. This is just one of the things that you will need to do to the tune in Nistune, because the Neo turbo ECU will be expecting to see a number of things (such as the TCS) that are not there, and you have to block the DTCs on those. It is totally not surprising to me that you are having the problems that you are, but the solutions to these problems have been known for >15 years. So just get it done.
    • Hi. Sry iam not a mechanic and iam not at the car atm so i dont know 100% but they told they measure those and even try to change those. AFM they have two. Coils are new a they have my old one too. Plugs too. ECU...we have 25 NEO stock and Nistune 25 NEO.   But i dont know if any one those could be the problem and why/if/what can cause this, Only thing they did not check is fuel...but that walbro 255 is new(like 1,5 years)... That fuel pressure gauge idk...but i let them know Any suggestions?   EDIT: how can they know if it is like you say he ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high? Tha car has boost controler
    • Can you clarify what you mean by boost cut, do you mean it misfires both when under load (driving) and when stationary and out of gear? Or does the ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high (boost control issue)? Does it occur at idle with no throttle? When you say "the ECU is OK", what ECU is it and why do you think it is OK? Have you used the NEO ECU, and if so do you have a MAP sensor attached? Same for the AFM, why do you think it is OK? Do you have any way to put a fuel pressure gauge on it (even just a mechanical one between the fuel filter and fuel rail)?
