I talked to a guy from Meng in the main street, he was very helpful and i brought up wheel allignments and he replied it can be done in about 2-3 days. Pedders in north mackay have a huge wait, 1 week +

and from memory i think an allignment is about $75 from Meng.

Ok so i need to replace the bolt in my front left, rear castor bar (behind the disk brakes) and it's basically impossible to do it from home as the original bolt is extremely tight and there isn't enough room to get a good go at it from being jacked up.

I need some advice as to who to go to to get this done,

Nissan have said "we don't have the equipment" the chick at the counter must have been drunk.

Pedders want $140 P/H and can't do it until next week sometime, although it should be roughly an hours work i still don't want to pay that much. I haven't tried anywhere else yet but i wanted to know if anyone has had this done before and could recommend a place or an individual to do it.

thanks

Just think about this. If someone does a job well, everyone wants to go there, if someone else doesnt, then there not going to have a huge line-up of customers

Personally I'd rather take it to neither. Would like if I knew someone who worked at a mechanics shop with the alignment tools to do it. But I dont know of anyone.

Not trying to detur you from Meng's, but just saying that something that seems like a good thing can turn out to be a bad thing

I went to pedders last time, and it seems to have helped my tyre wear so cant complain to much. However I dont think they took any camber out of the rear.

So I haven't spammed the thread with photos for a while so I thought now would be a good time. Spent some time today straightening out the diffuser after slamming it on the gutter at south Mackay KFC the other day (or at least I think thats where I bent it up)

Gave the car a wash and had a play with the camera for the first time in a little bit.

I really like taking photos with alot of depth. bit like this where only one section of the photo is completely in focus

Anyway. Did a quick before/after photo of what can easily be done with 5 minutes in photoshop. Removed stone chips from my front bar and did some processing. Yes yes I'm bored on my days off........

Impressive man, in 3 months that's a really big difference. Also did you go through four ways at like 6am, I'm almost 100% sure it was your car that i heard when i first woke up haha.

haha no 3 months into owning it. so about 5 years ago...

And i was out at about 6:30 but not through four ways

Hey guys finally got another car to flog/build. Picked up a early model 180SX off of Rob in Townsville. • Yep, the closest base tune available was for the GTT, I went with that and made all the logical changes I could find to convert it to Naturally Aspirated. It will rev fine in Neutral to redline but it will be cutting nearly 50% fuel the whole way.  If I let it tune the fuel map to start with that much less fuel it wont run right and has a hard time applying corrections.  These 50% cuts are with a fuel map already about half of what the GTT tune had.  I was having a whole lot of bogging when applying any throttle but seem to have fixed that for no load situations with very aggressive transient throttle settings. I made the corrections to my injectors with data I found for them online, FBCJC100 flowing 306cc.  I'll have to look to see if I can find the Cam section. I have the Bosch 4.9 from Haltech. My manifold pressure when watching it live is always in -5.9 psi/inHg
    • Hi My Tokico BM50 Brake master cylinder has a leak from the hole between the two outlets (M10x1) for brake pipes, I have attached a photo. Can anyone tell me what that hole is and what has failed to allow brake fluid to escape from it, I have looked on line and asked questions on UK forums but can not find the answer, if anyone can enlighten me I would be most grateful.
    • It will be a software setting. I don't believe many on here ever used AEM. And they're now a discontinued product, that's really hard to find any easy answers on. If it were Link or Haltech, someone would be able to just send you a ECU file though.
    • Yes sir am asking is there possible way from aem tuner from wiring pins
    • Have you checked cam to crank timing and confirmed balancer marks are correct?
