thz for ur info

a frend of mine sellin R34 TURBO 99, km almost 10k(not GTR)

condition still good and im plannin to get 1 from him but he was askin whats my offer for that

whats the minimum and max offer u guyz think i should offer him?

im thinking abt the resale of this car as well actually.

are they gonna be dropped significantly and slightly?

cuz this car is just for a short time use only, abt 1/2 year i'll be using it, so i assume the condition will be almost the same and km wont be much diff after i drive it around.

will that do $1k,2k,3k,4k,... droppin price for using it another 1/2 year?

thz guyz cuz im really concern of the resale value. If the price drop much then i wont get thr R34. im thinking abt how much $ i'll lose if i use the R34 for 6mths only. $5k=6 mths or..........

sorry franks, please dont hurt me.

u guyz know any good dealer specialise on this imported cars in sydney? cuz i wanna visit few of them

prolly it'll be cheaper if i can find private car rather than dealer

i wish i could!!!!!!!!!

10-15km, manual, 99-00 for 34 gt-t max $40k and what the min value i can get if i purchase from dealer?

and how much the rego? cuz thats the only cost we gotta pay if we buy from dealer and i know nothin abt it, since this is my first time buyin a car =( very sad case i know

another question, how much i gotta pay for the insurance anyway for this gt-t, cuz i heard its very expensive for turbo car

whats the best way to get the lowest cost for this shitty insurance(legally) LoL.

kenshin,

on victoria road just out of the city and past birkenhead point there is a dealer (old big boys toyz shop) that have 2 yellow gtt's.

there is also a dealer on parramatta rd, nth strathfield area (i think its called eddy lee's or something) that had a yellow gtt...the ones that i did see were rather stock.

there are also 2 x BNR34's forsale i know of - WARIO and SWOOP. bayside blue and black respectively, asking price is around 120k. a couple of the most known BNR34's in sydney atm.

nah, thats not my car :P i hardly goto that area...i think im gonna hold onto mine for a little longer cause they're getting hard to find with mods.

kenshin, prepare for some battles with insurance. If you have never had a car before and i presume you are 20ish? or early 20s? i would say prepare to spend well over $3/4k per year. To put it into perspective, when i had my R33 Gtst, i was 21 with a 60% no claim bonus (6 years of driving with no claims), no speeding tickets and my insurance was 2700.. you have no no claim bonus and the car is worth more than my gtst was worth, so expect to pay close to double mine.

i also pay $3k for my GTR now.

whoa can i just pay the insurance for the 3rd party only? a case like when i crash into some1's car, the insurance would only be payin for that person, not including my car so i gotta fix it by myself. Another way is to pay the satelite tracking system or somethin like that, so u dun have to pay that expensive.

a frend told me that way but hes not sure.

so many yellow colors available on the market

i found few ppl sellin r34 but the price isnt much diff with the dealers

BTW could the dealer or jp side reset the kilo for r34?

VOTING whats the 1st and 2nd best color u guyz think? taking it as consideration =), seems like yellow color diff to resell back Y/N?

    • would a r34 gtr hood line up with gt/gtt stock fenders? after latch, front bumper and hinges are swapped for gtr ones? or would the fenders be too low or high in relation to the hood surface? ( I believe seeing somewhere that gtr front fenders use some type of riser for the sides, but do not know how that relates to stock gt/gtt fenders.)
    • You just need to remove the compressor housing, not the entire turbo. I would not be drilling and tapping anything with the housing still on anyways.
    • So, I put my boat on a boat. First of all, I'm going to come out and say it. Why is Tasmania not considered a holy goal, an apex that all road-legal modified cars go to, to experience? This place is an absolute wonderland of titanic proportions. If people are already getting club runs for once in a lifetime 30 person cruises to Tassy then I've never seemed to see it. It is like someone replaced the entire place with an idyllic wonderland for cars, and all of the people living there with paid actors who are kind, humble, and friendly. Dear god. After doing a lap of almost all of the place I've found that it's a great way to find out all of the little things that the car isn't doing quite right and a great way to figure it all out. All in all, I drove for 4 hours a day for a week and nothing broke. I didn't even need to open the engine bay. This is by all means a great success, but it has left me with a list of things to potentially address. I also now have a 3D printed wheel fitment tool which annoyingly hasn't got any threads in it to actually assemble it. I might be able to tape it together to check the sizing I actually want to use, but it'll likely involving pulling the shocks out to properly measure travel at least at the front, and probably raise the car while I'm at it, at least in the rear. I scraped on quite a few things and I'm not sure how else to go about it. I was taking anything with a bump at what felt like 89 degree angles. And address those 10 other tasks. And wash the car. God damn it is dirty. And somehow, the weather was perfect the entire time - And because I was on the top of Mt Wellington it turns out it was very much about to freeze up there. I did something I typically never do and took some photos up there in what must have been -10 and the foggy felt like suspended ice, rather than mere fog. If you own a car in Australia, you owe it to yourself to do it.
    • Damn that was hilarious, and a bit embarrassing for skylines in general 😂 vintage car life ey. That R33 really stomped. Pretty entertaining stuff
    • Hi, I have a r32 gtr transmission. Does any of you guys have an idea how much power it will hold with the billet center plate and stock gearset? At what power level and use did yours brake with or without billet plate? Thanks, Oystein Lovik
