i cant make it there any more...spent the whole afternoon on beloved gateway motorway....after 3 hours of driving from eagle farm to aspley, im finally home.

but i am very pissed off.....very very....

*pat pat*

That was an awsome dinner... Thanks Lee for picking up Will...

Hopefully we didnt freak you out too much and you will want to come to dinner next week???

You are more than welcome and we would love to host you again...

Plus for the record for next time. If you order the chicken burger you will get 4 times the chips that Mrbenno gets with his steak at twice the price...

YAY for wil *throws sparkles*

I think you guys all need to do the breaky creek hotel...

Its where steak was born...

Yes indeed... that is where dinner is the evening of the Pub Crawl (link in my sig).

And y'all haven't had steak til you've had Andy's steak. We ranted and raved about it to the NSW'ers, cos they're steak nazi's too. So Andy put on a BBQ last time we were down there, and, as was to be expected, he blew them away :sorcerer:

The Brekky Creek has changed a lot and I don't rate it too highly. The Regatta was by far the best steak I have ever had and I do eat a lot of steak at lots of different places. The Wagyu at the Pineapple was not fantastic, but it was correctly cooked. The accompanying salads/veges were bad. I wasn't impressed by them at all. Calamari entree was great though.

Please, can we go to the Regatta in two weeks?? 14th of November?? I have to get on a plane on the Wednesday morning so a good meal would be appreciated before hand.

well i've been to the norman once, and the steak i had there was full of sinew and a pain in the ass to seperate into bits

the steak i had at the pineapple was tender, juicy, and a fairly average flavour. Big thumbs up to the chef though who knows how to cook a rare steak, as mine was actually raw in the middle like it's supposed to be.

So in my experience the pinapple outsteaked the norman this time, but yeah not the best steak i've ever had =)

agreed the norman is always full of sinew and other crap...the morrison should be included on our steak off list

wish i could have been there ^^ I love steak

But I decided missing a week for a good corse was worth it.

Although I will definitly be there next dinner ^^

Nice to meet you Will and I hope you have a awesome time here in Australia

    • Hello!  i just finished manual swaping my r34 skyline with a r33 rb20de box(RB71C)box  When the car is running it squeaks crazy loud and it was smoking from the gearbox area. The gearbox is fine it was tested. The clutch slave cylinder seems like it doesn't fully releases the clutch. I want to ask if this noise is from the throw out bearing or could it be the clutch assembly or disk att.xFliq87Gzw6kImKBVqDebXkj0fBqymk0JaYeP3_3SlM.mp4
    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
