Just got a lip fitted to my R34 guys, whats your opinions? I personally reckon it looks pretty good but I may spray the middle black 'SKYLINE' part to same colour as the front bar.

The cars at stock height at the moment and its already pretty low, hope its not too low when I get my coilovers back and drop the height abit. :P

now get some dish wheels to complete the look, the wheels look like they are hiding from something

the lip looks damn good.....like it was meant to be

Agree 100%

Get some tasteful dish in there :P

Agree with Alien; Nismo front bars just look weird (especially from a distance) with the black bit - as if something is missing.

Anyways; skirts are nice Andy - but I have something else in mind involving CF so yeah; no need for skirts for me

Thanks guys. :) Yep I'll definately try getting some dish rims back on there soon.

Do you think I should paint the bottom black lip silver as well? Or leave it black?

Keep it black dude, that will look good!!! Also, it wont matter as much if you scrape it on gutters etc as the marks wont show

Thanks all! Yep I'm going to get the black middle 'skyline' part colour coded and I think I'll spray the lower black lip silver as well.

The lip I got second hand and I think its an Eastbear item.

    • I also used Knox driveshafts when I the slip yoke T56 to the 3bolted TR6060 type. I believe I was one of his first jobs as it literally changed hands when I was there, started by the old owner and finished by the new. Everyone seemed pretty great about it. So wasn't shy/seemed pretty knowledgeable when dealing with weird custom people like me.
    • Just a reminder orange park was cool back in the day   and drifting the main circuit was even cooler   f**k I miss that car
    • We used Knox Drive shafts years ago when we were doing gravel rally, good guy but I heard it had changed hands? He's got a lot of stuff and is miles cheaper than GJ and so on. He used to have a lathe setup with a MIG torch on the tool holder so he could get the uni welds just right, quite a clever guy. I just got a driveshaft done for my sequential installation and that was through Balancing Services Australia in Preston, they did the Gibson cars in the old days. New genuine CV's, billet yoke, new centre bearing and chome moly shaft was $2k.
    • Thanks for sharing that mate, I've got a couple of spares on the shelf but all the unis are tight....will give old mate a shout. BTW are you sure it wasn't just a $400 paint job? Any detail of what they replaced (cut/reweld?)
    • Yeah I saw that about the US Q50 recently, apparently it was shown to Inifiniti dealers (probably to help with their depression about the cars they can sell). Seemed like a really obvious step to me, the platforms are very similar in many ways. Even if there aren't many people who actually put the money up it should really help with image/reputation. What hasn't been clear anywhere if that is a V38 model of if they are just going to add the trans as an option in a new model year. What they did with the Z from 370z to "Z" is just weird so I'd be surprised if they released this as a V38. Great news for me to have an option; it is far from confirmed that I can get any decent track sessions through the auto so having a manual I can swap to is great.
