+++white Face Dials @ Bezels+++ Get In Now

Recommended Posts

I am trying to find out what globes are used in R32, R33, R34 for the benefit of all people who wish to buy LED globes.

Sean'O : if you are keen to pull apart your dash T5 is 5mm, T10 is 10mm DIAMETER.

:P I would probably rather wait till after my exams just in case i make a mistake or something because i need my car, thanks for the clarrification though, I'm pretty sure Kezza has a 32 doesn't he? surely he would know

Thanks trav

:P Thats 100% true shit mike! The LEDs from ebay are just the run of the mill $3 led they are very narrow viewing angle and are pointless for this type of application!

I know i have been their and done that! yeah the dash for the R32 are T10!!! im fair sure most if not all dials use the t10 its only when you get into AC control buttons ect they get smaller

if you want to waste ya money on ebay led junk, you may as well get some blue paint and just paint the blobes with it! lol

anyway time is ticking!!!!!!

kezza

as soon as the 8th 12 hits, NO more orders will be added!!!! 2 days to get all the info to japan!!! then a few days to get them all made, a week or two to get them from japan, then i will send them out!

kezza,

I'm fairly keen for white dials + brushed bezels with the chrome rings + Blue LED kit. So am i best to get white dials with BLUE numbers, or CLEAR numbers, so the LED's shine thru better?

yeah mate, the white face its self wont light up all spazz looking, just the numbers and the strokes as like a normal set of dials! to get a nice blue i would get the metalic blue dials and a nice blue LED kit! oh and the bezels!

I say this because the metalic dials have clear lines and numbers and that will let the leds shine heaps of light ;)

one way or another its going to look 100% better than stock :)

And thats ok simon! It was writen in first post of time order ect!

cheers

kezza

kezza,

do the R33 GTS-T white dials include a little dial for the stock boost gauge? I read thru the thread for your last group buy, and it sounds like they don't? but ive seen other dials available, that do come with the little dial background (see pic)

ILL LOOK INTO IT NOW!!!!

I CANT REMEMBER OFF THE TOP OF MY HEAD!

SORRY DUDE, FOR SOME REASON THEY DONT MAKE THE PART IN THE BACK!

I DONT THINK YOU CAN GET INTO THAT PART OF THE DIAL ANYHOW. BECAUSE IT IS BEHIND THE DIALS THEM SELFS!

UNLESS YOU WANTED TO PULL ALL THE CLOCKS OUT AND ALSO REMOVE THE NEEDLES(f**k THAT)

YOU DONT WANT TO BE MUCKING AROUND WITH THAT SORT OF THENG. THE DIALS KITS FROM CYBER STORK, ARE MADE JUST TO BE A SIMPLE INSTALL!

WHEN YOU PULL NEEDLES OFF YOU WILL GET YOUR SELF IN TROUBLE!

HAHAHA ASK MY MATE KEITH, I GOT HIM A SET OF CARBON FIBER DIALS! AND THEY REQUIRED YOU O TAKE NEEDLES OFF!!! AND HE ENDED UP f**kING THE SPEEDO AND THE OIL DIAL!!!

NOT WORTH IT MATE!

SO THATS THE LOGIC I CAN SEE IN THEM NOT TRYING TO GET YOU TO FIT THAT BOOST DIAL DEHIND ALL THE OTHER CLOCKS!!!

What makes a good dial, compared with a "junk" one?

(Sorry if i'm askin too many Q's... will place my order shortly!)

the material they are printed on for one! And i have seen a set of those junk ones fall apart! heat in the car, poor grade translusent paints! BAD NEWS i dont mind the questions... im not making shit out of doing this so i dont mind if you dont get any dude! but like i said this is the last gb im doing so, tick tock tick tock

GB ends on the 8th and no more orders will be takin,

THANKS PEOPLE!

KEZZA

this is the last gb im doing so, tick tock tick tock

come on mate :) dont say that now...

I'm sure alot of people are very appreciative of your hard work in doing these GBs! :)

    • Manual boost controllers (where a little of the boost was bled off) were quite common back in the day, because they were cheap and easy. Generally they had a manual adjustment screw rather than being fixed like yours. Down side is they always bleed boost, not just when you want them to so an electronic boost controller that uses a solenoid will have less lag.
    • Hello , im new here and i have A31 home build  RB25det neo stock eng / turbo  aem ems 2 blue connector  aem 3.5 map aem cas disk aem wideband connected to ecu  355 lph pump 550 nismo yellow injectors side feed aftermarket regulator  and won’t start with base aem tuner basic tune eventually flipped cas 180 degree so it triggers on correct stroke not in exhaust cycle  Now it won’t start Wideband reads 10 and 11 at lowest fuel setting  and will share calibrations soon for aem tuner i think something is wrong in aem tuner    please if you have any information, am very grateful
    • Legend. I ended up finding the facebook account of the owner of the first car i sent but sadly he deactivated the account. I think you’re right in saying it’s some sort of well done custom job. Really appreciate your help anyways.
    • Totally equivalent. Stock often goes from the comp cover because that's where the actuator is also installed and the factory needs 2" of hose to make the connection - and it comes as a pre-assembled unit. They totally have a boost reference from somewhere between the turbo and the throttle(s). Oh, jeez. Just do it in M12 then. We don't actually care that much. I would expect any such AN converter fitting to rely on an o-ring or some other seal onto a flat surface under the flange of the hex**, because bolt threads are no intended to provide a pressure seal. unlike..... pipe threads. **which also requires a suitably flat and smooth surface on the turbo's boss to provide the seal.
    • I also used NP   That’s were it’s seems to be the best place to fit it? All schematic shows also that it’s should be referenced from the turbo housing. But idk, I do see high hp cars without any connection or anything to their turbos, so I really don’t know how they connect their things
