Rim Repair in Sydney

Hi All,

Can anyone suggest a good rim repair shop in Sydney? I would like to have my Volk racing wheels fixed and repainted.

Ate they cast of forged 3pce???

Circle Track in Seven Hill fixed my old 3pce Volks, and there is another place in Blacktown that fixed an old set of cast rims, of Tattersal Road.

Circle Track did a much better job, he makes rims for sports sedans, hill climb cars etc so is more then competent

If you need to know th ename of the other place i can dif it out.

They are bronze TE 37. Three of them have got some scratches on the edges I would like to get rid of. Also, the car washing guys at Maroubra must have used some active acid based cleanser that damaged the paint (left some matt stains) :-(

It would be great if you could look up the name of the other place.

How much do you reckon the repair is going to cost me (without repainting)?

What are the Volks made from, alum/magnesium. This place did a good enough job with an old set of rims for me, balanced up good, even if the coat of paint was nothing special.

Maybe it is worhwhile speaking to several places first as i have a suspicion that the TE 37s arent straight aluminium.

I paid $130 for the repair and painting of a buckle.

I am not sure if TE 37 wheels are straight aluminium.
