These 2 beautiful labs have been handed to the Murdoch Vet to be put down

but the Vet nurses haven't got the heart to do so, so they are asking anyone

if they perhaps know of anyone who would like to take them. They are

located in Canberra.

Please let Stacey (contact numbers below) know if you do know anyone, if not

at least we tried - you just never know!!!!!

They are only 20 months old male and female, sterilized, microchipped and

vaccinated and well trained - their owners split up and both have demanding

jobs so neither can keep them.

Choco labs go for big bux too, up to $2000 a pup, so these are a steal. And don't ask, I've aready got my full quota of animals, dog, horses etc

Yeah your right , with a dog and a bitch u could get a little puppy factory going , im like everybody else don`t have yard , good thing these ppl didn`t have kids

beautiful lookin dogs.

if owners cant be prepared to look after them, they shouldntve got them in the first place, pets arent presents. just annoys me people all of a sudden decide they dont have time to look after them so they chuck em.

unfourtunetly i dont have the backyard for them either, plus ive got 2 cats who wouldnt be too happy, otherwise id snap em up. ill spread the word though.

exactly what i was gonna say.

I cannot understand how anybody with any feelings at all could hand their pet in to be killed :P Pets are part of the family as far as i'm concerned.

I'll let my mum know, she's an obedience instructor at a dog club so she might know someone, or at least she can spread the word to her doggie friends.

Vet clinics would put down 20-50 dogs/cats a week because the 'must have' pet suddenly doesn't fit the owners life style. The two worst periods are just before Xmas [lets get rid of last years model] and approx. 3-6 months after Xmas [it was a cute kitty/puppy, now its a all growd up tom/dog].

It's a truely sad indictment of society, we can give so generously to some charities, but can diviorce ourselves from feelings for a pet that shows nothing but love and loyalty - to the point where we can kill them in a most trivial way.

Sickening isn't it!

Mum said they have found a good home. Someone at her dog club took them :)

thats great to hear thankyou

my partner and I were going to but we have to buy a house first before we can get dogs

our Landlord would not appreciate 2 Labs in a Apartment

    • I can see between the water jacket and cyl 3 there wasn't a hard line of combustion gas. It certainly appears that the issue is coming from there. Yes, checked the tension. All at 100ft lbs where I set them 5 years ago. These blocks can crack but generally when they have been over bored. Mine is only 0.5mm oversize at 89.5mm. They break between cylinders around the 91mm mark. No sign of that with mine. My gut feeling is the head gasket lifted a while back when the studs stretched and i bandaided it by retorquing the studs. It's finally let go.

    • Yes, but, I paid cash and I'm pretty sure the receipt was in the bin 10 minutes after I got home Note to self, keep all receipts

    • So, version 4 intake is on its way I was looking at these a while ago but at around $200 or more it was a little pricey for something that might not work, but, I had it in my watch list, but, I got a message saying it was on special, and I had a code thingie to use, it eventually came in at $120 delivered, so BAM, BUY NOW.....LOL I'll need to have a look when it arrives but I feel it will "look" better than what I currently have, as it comes with a PCV fitting, so I will be able to get rid of the alloy pipe that goes to the throttle body with the PCV fitting  Well, that's what the voices in my head are telling me  Oh, and this happened today Yeap, it was a Trojan, and it was cheap, so I headed back to the hardware store and actually spent a little bit more on a heavy duty,  one that was actually recommended by a plumber mate, a Cyclone one with a fibreglass handle that is actually rated for clay The broken shovel will eventually be "modified" into a short handle shovel
