wtb: black 18" or 19" rims that will fit a v35 and clear brembos. Im not very sure about offset, etc. so got no idea how to calculate or estimate the correct size. Initially, i wanted some 18" drift teks but got told that they are unable to clear brembos without bolt on spacers.

cheers

well buy the rims and take em in to get powder coated which is cheap and have black center with polished lips. will have bucket loads more style than cheap doriteks and you might actually get some respect with it ;)

WTB: Set of R33 stock side skirts and rear pods preferably in series 2 silver but will take any colour if in good condition. Must be in good condition, i.e. no cracks or major damage. PM please.

Thanks

hey buddy, those are some gangster rims you got there, but I'm interested in black rims, similar spokes to drift teks. thanks for the reply tho.

drifteks are f**king gay - i do not understand how people love fake wheels

WTB: R32 Dash, GTR fenders and someone on here had a Venom boost gauge a couple weeks back?

I have a dash in my garage I removed 2 yrs ago - has a couple screw holes on the left side of the cluster where a big gauge was mounted, and it has the bubble in the typical location

good if you want to retrim it or just need a dash for a track basher, but not so great if you're looking for a replacement for a showcar

PM me if you're interested

go down to repco/autobarn, buy a pod adapter for an r34 ($30) then wander down to motorquipe and find yourself a 3A brand air filter ($30-$50)

Done.

Unfortunately being a year 12 student I sadly dont have enough coins for some decent rims.. thus I have to resort to drift teks for the time being. However, my plans are to get work xd9.

thanks for your thoughts tho.

nothing wrong with teks, theyre a good drift wheel, cheap enough to replace if you stuff it up and cheap enough to afford as a set of spare rims for track. they look decent too.

id rather replace a cheap rim and spend more money on skid tyres then having to sit around saving up to replace a killa jap wheel

    • Don't even try to run it on the stock ECU if you're going to have the boost controller bring boost above ~10 psi. I've already told you that. If you use the Nistune ECU, you will need to CAREFULLY read the available documentation for Neo tuning, and read some threads on the Nistune forums, to discover the various things you have to do to prevent the ECU from going bananas when the boost is too high. The is a table associated with th boost sensor that must be modified to prevent it from shitting the bed. This is just one of the things that you will need to do to the tune in Nistune, because the Neo turbo ECU will be expecting to see a number of things (such as the TCS) that are not there, and you have to block the DTCs on those. It is totally not surprising to me that you are having the problems that you are, but the solutions to these problems have been known for >15 years. So just get it done.
    • Hi. Sry iam not a mechanic and iam not at the car atm so i dont know 100% but they told they measure those and even try to change those. AFM they have two. Coils are new a they have my old one too. Plugs too. ECU...we have 25 NEO stock and Nistune 25 NEO.   But i dont know if any one those could be the problem and why/if/what can cause this, Only thing they did not check is fuel...but that walbro 255 is new(like 1,5 years)... That fuel pressure gauge idk...but i let them know Any suggestions?   EDIT: how can they know if it is like you say he ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high? Tha car has boost controler
    • Can you clarify what you mean by boost cut, do you mean it misfires both when under load (driving) and when stationary and out of gear? Or does the ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high (boost control issue)? Does it occur at idle with no throttle? When you say "the ECU is OK", what ECU is it and why do you think it is OK? Have you used the NEO ECU, and if so do you have a MAP sensor attached? Same for the AFM, why do you think it is OK? Do you have any way to put a fuel pressure gauge on it (even just a mechanical one between the fuel filter and fuel rail)?
