you guys can goto adventure world i dont mind ill just head home when u do :) i dont mind at all, its a fact of spending so much and not being able to insure it for whats its worth is why i dont wanna leave it anywhere. its a cruise car only with this engine, once the engine goes in another car and i put a stocker 26 or 26/30 in it then im happy to leave it anywhere.

paranoid is my middle name

nah thats no fun ... im sure everyone will be happy if we stick to the original ideas :)

just bumping the thread up..for those who are coming please vote-- it is pretty much decided that we are going to Lake Leschanaultia in chidlow

does anyone know if 28th Jan is still double demerits or do is finish on the 28th???

Looks like we are having a normal map as well :P

I live near the lake in Chidlow and dont recomend it. The water is filthy and the car park is far from the BBQ area. Whiteman park is better if you want to park right next to the BBQ for those who are security conscious. Why not head a bit further out for a longer drive. Chidlow is in the metro area and only 35 minutes from the city.

Just my opinion - i have placed my vote.

maybe if thats the case we should use the lake as a stop point??? there are a few who arent happy not having eye visuals of there car so maybe we could take the back way through the swan valley to whitemans park or further out somewhere???

just throwing up ideas any one else???

The car park at the Margaret River Chocolate factory is vivble from the tasting counter while we are in the swan valley...

Mmmmmm.....chocolate *drools*

second that!

If the water is dirty.. just make it a meet point and then head elsewhere.

jesus why not just head to sydney and back :O toodjay is miles away and who knows how reliable my piece of shit car is in the early stages of it running  just my luck ill smash the gearbox 200km from Perth and be stranded :ninja:

i agree on visual contact of the cars :)

i reckon head down the coast from freo to scarbs to hillarys, mindarie hahaha atleast its not 5000km away ;):woot:

hahaha brad :pirate: i have to agree not so keen on toodyay at all but would be interested like above to go to the lake, chocolate factory, bbq obviously meeting south for the southies..

dont worry brad my parents are out that way. you can store your broken stagea at their place. payment can be made in performance parts from your stag. he he.

ok - now I'm worried.. :(

well if toodyay is miles out then I must live in Bunbury :)

Not my idea of fun if its an inner city/suburbia/coastal cruise ... I drive my stag in traffic every day....

hahaha to brad you do live in bunbury :)

im sure that we can arrange something..im sure we can do something out near the hills or up near mundaring weir area , to the lake, to the chocolate factory in swan valley, and whitemans for a bbq! that way everyone is happy ;)

kylie i do think u live in bunbury hahah, i been drivin to golden bay everyday for the past 3 weeks from joondalup and it definately feels along way ( 100km i think ) mandurah is even further again :P

im up for anything as long as my cars fine and if it isnt ill just bring the gto

ill bring the skyline out brad, so you wont feel left out if it dies.

the sau cruise out to toodyay was actually pretty good..

the roads arent too bad, unless you have some stiff coilovers, but i dont think many of you guys would?

however you'd have to try avoid the roadworks though kylie.. dont wanna see another slip'n'slide do we? :P

i have found another WA stagea owner that is interested in coming on the cruise, and he said i gotta give him 2 weeks notice so he can get time off work as he works on sundays usually.

if u guys spot any other stageas around the place have a chat to the owners and try and organise them to come along too so we can get a fair percentage of stageas in WA to come along :)

we need 10 stageas at least i reckon

    • -10 is plenty for running to an oil cooler. When you look at oil feeds, like power steering feeds, they're much smaller, and then just a larger hose size to move volume in less pressure. No need for -12. Even on the race cars, like Duncans, and endurance cars, most of them are all running -10 and everything works perfectly fine, temps are under control, and there's no restrictions.
    • Update: O2 sensor in my downpipe turned out to be faulty when I plugged in to the Haltech software. Was getting a "open circuit" warning. Tons of carbon buildup on it, probably from when I was running rich for a while before getting it corrected. Replaced with new unit and test drove again. The shuffle still happens, albeit far less now. I am not able to replicate it as reliably and it no longer happens at the same RPM levels as before. The only time I was able to hear it was in 5th going uphill and another time in 5th where there was no noticeable incline but applying more throttle first sped it up and then cleared it. Then once in 4th when I slightly lifted the throttle going over a bump but cleared right after. My understanding is that with the O2 sensor out, the ECU relies entirely on the MAP tune and isn't able to make its small adjustments based on the sensors reading. All in all, a big improvement, though not the silver bullet. Will try validating the actuators are set up correctly, and potentially setting up shop time to tune the boost controller on closed loop rather than the open loop it is set to now. Think if it's set up on closed loop to take the O2 reading, that should deal with these last bits. Will try to update again as I go.
    • More so GReddy oil relocation kits, sandwich plates, etc. all use 10AN fittings. And same, I've only used 10AN and my car sees track work (circuit, doing laps, not 10 sec squirt business).
    • street use or race track, what hose size and why? what factors change with the hose size options ?   see most comon is an10. when you see most oem external coolers are closer to an12? does high volume oil pump like nitto need an12 or 10 be just fine
