great job if you like the lifestyle, downside is its in Deniliquin [but you have an opportunity to move around the state after say 12 months or so].

I wouldn't normally do this, but its what I do, and its in my dept. Plus I'd hate for anyone that really wants it to miss out.

That would actually be a really good job, that pay is great :O

Deni isn't even THAT bad, its a haul back to the city... but I've worked there before and survied :)

will a letter from my mum saying i can swim be good enuff

what do u do drive and measure dams and stuff

Gus what you do in the privacy of your own home wiff yo mummy is no business of mine.........lol

Basically measure water quality and quantity in the southern part [but not limited to] of the state.

Plus you get the usual salary entitlement expenses untaxed and over and above your salary for every day you are on the road approx. $160/day country, $220 cap. city.

Progression to $90k is possible, sick leave, holidays, leave loading, flex time, long service, 7hr day, superannuation etc etc. the usual public servant stuff.

Yeah, sorry, need solid maths and science in HSC or better.

Don't need a genius [Wylie Coyote is safe], but can't hide non-maths/science.

If you know anyone, anyone at all, tell 'em. It is a bloody good job if you are into 4wd, boat, swim, computer, oudoor/indoor, and have pract. skills like basic electronics/welding/handyman/1st aid etc

Ease up, I didnt even finish year 11.

Hey someone has to do the labour jobs and that someone is me.

You should try 4 1/2 years in a combat corps in the army, and you thought actuarial maths was hard. :) (not boasting, just stating :))

Will ask around for ya though.

Wasn't having a go at you, I thought manwhore was having a go at us!! I was gunna ask if he was Wylie G Coyote though. Actuarial maths is not required!

I think the add says good at maths etc, I reckon it means - solid maths ie you don't have to be brilliant, but yes you need to have a solid understanding of HSC level maths.

I hate it when people rag on tradies. I used to but now that I work with them I find them better than normal customers.

Restecpa.

Nice ride Zennon. Gotta love the saturn black. A friend in Melbourne had the same on a SR32 project car, but they pulled out of it cos it was taking too long to get on the track.

  • 1 year later...

Two more temporary - to start with - jobs going..........

Hydrographic start up positions, $40-60K depending on quals etc. Career tops out at around $80K then management.

6 weeks in Tumut, and 3 months in Leeton, but expect both positions tp roll over until permanently filled. Also, present plans are to increase staffing levels by approx. 30% over the next 12-18 months [approx 6-8 new jobs in South West Slopes and Plains NSW].

Although gov't, we are involved in the Murray Darling $10 billion over 10 years Fed funding and have to take on a heap of new work.

PM me with an email addy for details.

    • Don't even try to run it on the stock ECU if you're going to have the boost controller bring boost above ~10 psi. I've already told you that. If you use the Nistune ECU, you will need to CAREFULLY read the available documentation for Neo tuning, and read some threads on the Nistune forums, to discover the various things you have to do to prevent the ECU from going bananas when the boost is too high. The is a table associated with th boost sensor that must be modified to prevent it from shitting the bed. This is just one of the things that you will need to do to the tune in Nistune, because the Neo turbo ECU will be expecting to see a number of things (such as the TCS) that are not there, and you have to block the DTCs on those. It is totally not surprising to me that you are having the problems that you are, but the solutions to these problems have been known for >15 years. So just get it done.
    • Hi. Sry iam not a mechanic and iam not at the car atm so i dont know 100% but they told they measure those and even try to change those. AFM they have two. Coils are new a they have my old one too. Plugs too. ECU...we have 25 NEO stock and Nistune 25 NEO.   But i dont know if any one those could be the problem and why/if/what can cause this, Only thing they did not check is fuel...but that walbro 255 is new(like 1,5 years)... That fuel pressure gauge idk...but i let them know Any suggestions?   EDIT: how can they know if it is like you say he ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high? Tha car has boost controler
    • Can you clarify what you mean by boost cut, do you mean it misfires both when under load (driving) and when stationary and out of gear? Or does the ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high (boost control issue)? Does it occur at idle with no throttle? When you say "the ECU is OK", what ECU is it and why do you think it is OK? Have you used the NEO ECU, and if so do you have a MAP sensor attached? Same for the AFM, why do you think it is OK? Do you have any way to put a fuel pressure gauge on it (even just a mechanical one between the fuel filter and fuel rail)?
