Sounds good, looks awesome, turns plenty of heads. skyline engines fit straight in if u want to upgrade or you can bolt on a turbo. I never converted to turbo coz im on my P's and ran out of cash, which is why im selling, hate to see it go but i can afford it no longer. Car is in mint condition, not one dint, dent, scratch or scuff, plus i will include car covers, club lock, RWC and a full years rego if you dont want the personnal plates: SKATIN.

i also have a GTIr that is my current project, i need to sell this car before i can do more. I also may enter another GTIr in the targa next year or the year efter, so i do now the difference between a nice nissan and a nice holden. but i liked this model holden because the GTR skyline engine can fit without major mods to the bay, but that plain kinda went out the door. I also love VL's cause they are easy to work with and i think are quite attractive with a nice body kit and paint job (like most). So hopefully you will see my name in the racing world in the next few years.

I hate to have to say it mate but Im sorry I have to agree with WazR32Gtst....

I sold my VL a year ago to buy my skyline and it had huge $$$$ spent on it.... and I really mean alot of dollars and I ended settling for a measly $6000 because the interest wasnt there ( In my opinion it was one of the nicest in Perth )

That being said though I wish you good luck in selling you VL.

well can't blame a guy for trying, funny enough i put it in the trader a while ago for $10,700 and i had the phone going nuts, plenty of people came and had a look but no one bought :D then i dropped it to $10,000 the next week plus included a new black widow alarm with backup power, central locking, remote keyless entry, another imobilizer. and i didn't get one call, what the? probly coz it was in a lower catagory, anyways hopefully ill find someone who loves it as much as i do, and the price is negotionable remember. anyways thanks fellas even though you slimed my chances a little further, no heart feelings.

cheers.

P.S. i have only seen 1 VL on the road so far that looks better, and that was in echuca. it was wicked, canary yellow and white with a full VS clubsport body kit, and it was a calais turbo, boosted! thats what red blooded aussie dreams are made of...

ture.

i paid 9,500 for a Calais Turbo (fgactory manual) running 15psi and lowered and all sorts. Went hard ass... But still at the top end of expensive.

But for NA... your about 2-3 grand to high.

    • Mixing things up - installed some leather recaros to match the leather seat covered rear seats. Interior looks pretty schmick now except for some slight wear on the steering wheel which I will monitor and address if it becomes worse or actually noticeable!

    • I'm normally copping my own abuse from neglecting my daily drivers. "Those suspension bushes will last a bit more", "Don't worry about the oil leak, just keep topping it up". The project cars I'm always doing things slowly on them as I'm wanting them to be done better, and neater, and nicer. Luckily I don't have to deal with 18 year old Matt's "Learning to wire" stuff in the project cars. And there's only one piece of wiring I'm displeased about in the Landcruiser, and it's about to be cut out... However, the box loads of parts that have been going through this place lately for the Landcruiser... Brake pads Brake Rotors Full handbrake overhaul Wheel Bearings Seals Swivel hubs Steering Boxes Half the suspension joints Shocks Air bags (Ones to go in the rear springs for towing) Water pump Timing kit Lower timing case Harmonic Balancer Radiator Lots of other little seals and shits Gas struts for the bonnet New power window switches And god knows what else I've forgotten... Ha ha ha I have my fingers crossed the pinion seals don't start leaking on the diffs, that the transfer case doesn't leak, and the gearbox input shaft doesn't leak, nor the rear main seal. As they're about the only seals I haven't replaced in the driveline! I'm seriously eyeing off buying new caliper rebuild kits front and rear brake calipers... I'll probably recheck all the valve clearances soon too, and hopefully, it should be all good and sweet to haul some long distance trips again!
    • Every time I pull my 3x gauges out of the console and see the crack-addict way that I did the wiring, and I just can't bring myself to tear it all apart and "make it nice", because it is currently working. In fact, the last time I was in there I probably made it worse.
    • The best part is when you own the car long enough that you look back and find your OWN ham fisted amateur shit!
