thanks mate ill keep that in mind. Ive got a couple of spare 18" tyres for track, if someone actually organises a track day!, at the back that i may have stretched onto the rears.

Yeh get em streached, you can check mine on Sunday see what you think! Yeh track day sounds like a plan, thinking i'm gonna be doing some Modern Regularity out at mallala soon and some practice days.

Ask him.. urself..

but he's got a point.. SR power to weight ratio is pretty awesome..but still it ain't a skyline..

I would take my RB over SR anyday. Im only talking from what i know. I dont know if the redtop is different to the other generation SR20's but my brothers sounds like a friggn mack truck and its soo lound in the cabin although it would eat me in a run. :hellpisd:

yeah mate i think he did not only that hes got a hc with it plus injectors if im not mistaken. I dont know why the injectors though without aftermarket turbs. All from nengun if i remember correctly.

Fark!!! he spent some money then, hay?

    • If there's enough meat in the housing where you want to put the M12 adapter, then do it, but be aware that if/when you f**k that up you'll probably be repairing it before doing anything else. I'd just drill it out and tap ina 1/4" thread. No need for rocket surgery when the next most obvious thing will do. You could throw a 1/4 x 1/8 bush in there and use the same fitting you intended to use.
    • Is the only issue that the oil catch can is getting filled on hard runs? I'd be thinking more about oil control issues rather then the head lifting, especially as you aren't seeing spiking in the coolant pressure.  Do you need restrictors in the head, or better drains from the head? Does the sump need venting to the catch can?
    • Tried to make 1/8npt threads into compressor house of the turbo for my EBC. Threads got fu#ked and ended up with and elongated hole, so I do have good amount and nice threads 90% of the hole but 10% I only had 1-2threads there and rest of it is flush on that side of the hole.. So my idea is to do M12 x 1.25 to AN4 with braided lines instead of 1/8npt to 4mm vacuum silicone hose.  and hopefully get a better thread. M12 is quite big and AN4 is a little bit bigger than 4mm (4.9mm inner diameter braided PTFE hose). but this should work. Thoughts? Otherwise I will weld and adapter onto the turbo.
