Just having some fun (and with a spelling mistake)

Nothing wrong with Italians (unless you need to go to war)

Well someone must have given me foxtel over night...im watching Brisbane vs Essendon on Channel 9 :(

And another mistake (by me) - its the crows v power thats on Foxtel (the only game that matters - so long as the Crows win)

tim, what uni you go to mate and what you studying?

i was doing computer engineering at flinders and then switched to computer science in my 4th year and with a minor in engineering at flinders uni. 2 subjects to go!!! then maybe gtr engine in the 31 or a gtr as well lol

Have been considering re enrolling at Flinders in the last couple of weeks. Don't think I ll do what i was doing before though ( Bachelor of Geospatial Information Science and Technology ) looking at a few of the other IT type courses.

The B.I.T course is geared towards management/project management. Not so much programming/web development.

It really depends on what you like, I personally cant stand sitting at a computer for hours on end programming, I much prefer the management type role.

Telecommunications or Teaching is where I want to be.

The computer science course is considered to be the blue collar non-management type course.

The whole programming thing was one of the main reason why i deffered for a year which then turned into quitting to work full time( seemed like a good idea at the time ) will look into that course. I will also need to see if any of the subjects i did will count for anything, hope i didn't waste a year and a lot of money for nothing LOL.

The course I was doing was very narrow and there was only one type of job you could get out of it, it just depends on the company what you do.

need to look into some other things before hand though like a part time job as my work won't allow me to study. I may also bee looking at selling my 33 and getting a 32 in a few months will have to see how things pan out.

I should have bought one originally its the model that i wanted! its just that my 1988 cordia that i had was a huge pile of S**T. in the five years that i owned it it went through.

2 exhausts

5 batteries

1 cam shaft (while ideling in a car park)

2 timing belts

and that was driving it easily so i was abit aprehensive about another car that age.

i must say cubes comp science is a harder course than i.t. simply because we have to do subjects that are optional i.t. subjects. but by far the hardest and most boring is computer engineering even though i had nearly finished it (minus 1 year) i didnt want to stand infront of a computer programming hardware. so im looking towards a more creative i.t. role/ management such as yourself.

at the ned of the day they are pretty much the same course i think i.t. has some subjects that are more interesting... such as psychology and that team project thing

The course i was doing had a lot of compulsary subjects that were rather boring (comp programming and geography) the best subjects that i did were the optional ones like Criminology and Statistical Data Analysis.

But after working in my current job I won't complain about anything being boring lol

well i got my subjects this semester/ which are easy considering what ive been through and im done. will graduate with a major in comp science minor in electrical engineering. then i will work for half a year then may go back and complete software engineering degree in a year as all the subjects ive done are shared and this kinda interests me.

so cubes i keep tryin to say hi in db2 but i dont think u know who i am. lol anyways im doing software eng 3 instead of db2 as i think its shit lol.

    • I am yet to see anyone ever regret a quaife or helical. ...other than drifting/skidpan duties. I kind of want to upgrade my factory helical with a Quaife (but really it's not ultimately that different, and is a MASSIVE UNDERTAKING), that's how good the hype is about them, that I want to try them 'just to see'
    • D2 and Ksport are essentially the same thing and basically just generic Taiwanese manufacture. Better than ChinaBay crap, but... not top shelf. Öhlins have got to be some of the best dampers around, so likely to be a good option. It's going to get to the point though where I suggest you buy from Oz. We have at least 2x excellent options here. If I were you though, I'd be talking to KW about doing something for the R33. There's bugger all difference between that and the 32. In GTR land, anyway.
    • KW only offers a set for the R32 GTR. Popular options are D2 racing, Ksport or Öhlins. I have a D2 Racing coilover set, though I don't know for sure which one.
    • Well, the good news is you have more than one very good option for new coilovers in and around your country. Worth the drive over to KW to talk about GTR stuff.
    • Fair enough, I am in no way a tire expert so I'm not familiar with all the terms and conditions. I'll definitely note down the AD09 to potentially try in the future. Rain is not too big of a concern for now as I will probably only drive in the rain when I have to. And considering I still lack experience driving the GTR I'd more than likely take it easy too. I have coilovers in the car but as I barely got to drive so far I never bothered to even check if they are adjustable haha. The suspension is almost entirely old and worn as well so I suppose when I eventually fix that in the future that would make a huge difference.
