HAHA i hope these are the ones hydro'ing engines as the water port was taped into the intake runner..... if nto all good, i prefer the finish of the genuine ones but hey who am i to judge if it works. :)
Business must be pretty bad these days hey? :) Tying to drum up some sales by inserting some doubt. :D

I have seen these used on two different cars, no problems, but slight modification needed to fit properly. :P

i'm also installing a greddy copy as we speak.. just can't decide weather to go to autobarn and shell out $120 for a tb converter or pick up a q45 style throttle body.. :D as for the coolant line to the turbo, i've run it around the front of the engine rb26 style.. a handy tip would be make sure you do all the plumbing between the aac valve and air regulator, as it's an incredible bitch to do once the manifold is on :glare: common sense would probably suggest this but ahh well, i'm special

also, what are people doing about relocating the air feed for the aac valve and blow off valve? just fabricating a new pipe from intercooler to plenum?

I purchased a greddy copy plenum and a q45tb of ebay a while back and only recently fitted it to my r33. I found the overall surface on the top of the plenum to be a little bit rough and the rest of the manifold to be very good. But i have been having major issues with q45 tb and tps in which i can get the car ideling properly. I have double checked all my vacume hoses to ensure it wasent them. And i have followed many of tech guides that i have founf all over the net and still cant get it ideling normally.

Any help would be great

No bussines is actually busier than ever and we cant keep the genuine ones in stock, in fact we sell more R33 plenums than the rest of TRUST's worldwide distributors combined.

Im was not saying all copies are water injection models  but there is a shipment in melb that came in a few months ago that had this issue i even know the supplier as i distribute his other gear. i dont care if people buy copies there is always going to be people who have differrent proiritys just look at all those tools who buy those junk china turbo's.......... horses for courses. i was just informing potential buyers to ask around before they make a purchase if no one else has had dramas from that particular supplier i would safely say you are ok....

A plenum isn't exactly the most complex piece of gear...

I can't see how they can go wrong if they are essentially just copying the GReddy item. I have bought one of the copies from the group buy a while ago and I think it 'looks' really good for money. Far better then some huge stainless steel box bolted onto the lower half of the stock intake manifold.

My thoughts anyways.

for the rb25 one. id remove and re locktite the water neck for the top hose first aswell.

well i had a brand new greedy one leak so a cheap knock of?? who knows

is that the way these knock off water necks are suppose to be attached is with loctite ?? I figured they were to be pressed in or something ?

I have two of these for sale.

One purchased through SAU GB and the second through ebay.

[ To cut a long story short: Purchased the ebay one first; it arrived damaged; after alot of dicking around i thought i was going to get ripped; bought one through the SAU GB; after 3 months, i received a replacement plenum from the ebay seller. Both are identical and are very decent for the amount paid.]

I have decided to use another plenum as the car will be partly of show quality and this is the only part that i had purchased cheaply.

I am selling both for $260ea delivered (to metro area; may cost more for country areas)

PM me if interested.

still for sale

    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
    • Manual boost controllers (where a little of the boost was bled off) were quite common back in the day, because they were cheap and easy. Generally they had a manual adjustment screw rather than being fixed like yours. Down side is they always bleed boost, not just when you want them to so an electronic boost controller that uses a solenoid will have less lag.
    • Hello , im new here and i have A31 home build  RB25det neo stock eng / turbo  aem ems 2 blue connector  aem 3.5 map aem cas disk aem wideband connected to ecu  355 lph pump 550 nismo yellow injectors side feed aftermarket regulator  and won’t start with base aem tuner basic tune eventually flipped cas 180 degree so it triggers on correct stroke not in exhaust cycle  Now it won’t start Wideband reads 10 and 11 at lowest fuel setting  and will share calibrations soon for aem tuner i think something is wrong in aem tuner    please if you have any information, am very grateful
    • Legend. I ended up finding the facebook account of the owner of the first car i sent but sadly he deactivated the account. I think you’re right in saying it’s some sort of well done custom job. Really appreciate your help anyways.
