well the time has come to upgrade. i am currently in the process of upgrading from my HKS GT-RS turbo to something bigger so the setup is for sale. This setup has everything ready to bolt up to your R33 or R32 gtst and all the parts are the best on the market. All parts have done around 25,000 kms and are in perfect working order. My car made 260rwkw on 17-18psi and ran a 12.3 quarter mile with much more in it. It includes:

- HKS GT-RS turbo (latest release from HKS - very good street/midrange turbo)

- stainless manifold (not china copy - no cracks or leaks, has been machined before being mounted to ensure perfect fit).

- nismo 550cc injectors

- CES spit dump pipe (best quality dump pipe on the market, has been hpc coated to minimise heat).

- custom stainless alluminium pipe from turbo mouth to pod filter (detailed in picture).

All the parts are in perftect working order and will be available in around 10 days time when the mechainic pulls them out. Im asking $3200 for the setup, this all cost me almost twice that. Any questions just ask.

everything bolts up as is. the CES dump pipe bolts up exactly as is, nothing needs to be modified. the dump pipe bolts the turbo perfectly no separator tongue is needed. i am located in sydney. i can separate parts only if they are all accounted for. dont want to be left with bits and pieces.

ryno, starts making boost pretty much straight away. is almost like standard turbo i.e no lag is felt. goes real hard from 3200rpm till redline. will kick the car out all over the place in 2nd gear without use of the clutch on 18psi.

this turbo is the goods....the car is very quick for a street car i seen it in action...forget high flow shit they dont compare...with big cams there good for 300kw i made 301rwkw dyno is in rb25 results thread page1 ...

ive had mine for 2 years almost and hasnt missed a beat...

very responsive and boost holds till 7k.....

free bump cant believe its still not sold..........

Similar for the RB20. Makes boost before 2k and gets the kick at 4k.

1st gear on 16psi is a waste of time and second is a fight for traction.

all i got to say is that this is a value set up right here.

If i had the money i would be buying the turbo, manifold, split dump, alluminium pipe from turbo mouth to pod filter & Pump with swirl pot.

Seriously nice peice of kit you have there.

    • The oil pressure sensor for logging, does it happen to be the one that was slowly breaking out of the oil block? If it is,I would be ignoring your logs. You had a leak at the sensor which would mean it can't read accurately. It's a small hole at the sensor, and you had a small hole just before it, meaning you could have lost significant pressure reading.   As for brakes, if it's just fluid getting old, you won't necessarily end up with air sitting in the line. Bleed a shit tonne of fluid through so you effectively replace it and go again. Oh and, pay close attention to the pressure gauge while on track!
    • I don't know it is due to that. It could just be due to load on track being more than a dyno. But it would be nice to rule it out. We're talking a fraction of a second of pulling ~1 degree of timing. So it's not a lot, but I'd rather it be 0... Thicker oil isn't really a "bandaid" if it's oil that is going to run at 125C, is it? It will be thicker at 100 and thus at 125, where the 40 weight may not be as thick as one may like for that use. I already have a big pump that has been ported. They (They in this instance being the guy that built my heads) port them so they flow more at lower RPM but have a bypass spring that I believe is ~70psi. I have seen 70psi of oil pressure up top in the past, before I knew I had this leak. I have a 25 row oil cooler that takes up all the space in the driver side guard. It is interesting that GM themselves recommend 0-30 oil for their Vette applications. Unless you take it to the track where the official word is to put 20-50w oil in there, then take that back out after your track day is done and return to 0-30.
    • Nice, looks great. Nice work getting the factory parts also. Never know when you'll need them.
    • Thanks @jtha7 I will have a look around tomorrow but it is a prick of a spot. These are some photos i tried taking
    • I take it that the knock retard is from bearings tapping a little tune? Thicker oil is a fragile bandaid. You need a much bigger oil cooler and probably the bigger pump being discussed.
