Spotted zoidberg heading south around 5:30ish or thereabouts somewhere on the highway. Can't remember where, was a bit tired, but spotted it on the trailer.

I was going the other way in my own white r33 :P

Ah yeah, I saw ya! I wasn't sure who it was though, just some cool looking skyline :P

I saw XRATED in Kingo the other day, fkn asshole snobbed me :(

And Saw a very nice Purple 33 GTR on my road today.

I saw a big homo in a purple urabus and gave a thumbs up.... that he obviously didn't see.

each to one and their own friend :) I love my Subie, it's the perfect daily. 4 Doors, Short wheel base, OK on Fuel, bit of poke, All Wheel drive.

Spotted a white R34 with P plates on the Brooker today. Anyone from here?

Haha. It's no fun if they don't play! Probably in the same boat as me, car looks fast, but goes really slow. Complete opposite of the blue car, looks like a slow pos, but has a fair bit of poke.

If there isn't already one, i think we should have a thread in the Tas section where every one can post a picture of there car, so we can identify eachother on the road? Or is that the purpose of the "What's Going On With Everyones Cars?" thread? I suppose the new stickers are for as well though.

Any who, here's a picture of my car just before i picked it up. I'm yet to take any photo's. Doesn't have the bbs rims on it any more, i used to own them, but wasn't really a fan.

    • Just to add, I found the r32 gtr ecu the most forgiving, the r33 one would get the shits.
    • For what it’s worth I drove my gtr for over a decade with gt-ss as a true daily after I pulled off the -5s, I had it engineered and went with stock ecu etc.  never skipped a beat.    I would only worry if you can’t get good fuel all the time in a tropical paradise
    • I bought an engine from a friend of a friend many years ago, it was sold to me as a RB25det Neo.    recently I started pulling it apart and noticed that the intake manifold was pretty different from others that I had seen on RB engines so did a bit of research and found that it was a non turbo manifold. So I’m sceptical now that it is a NEO DET and just thinking it’s a NEO DE (it does have a turbo strapped to it currently).    can you identify the engine model from the numbers on the block?
    • Yeah you can. Cable tie the gauge to a windscreen wiper, or run it into the car and hold it with one hand, or have the neighbour's kid run alongside and tell you what it says.
    • I've never understood why this bothers people. Surely you'd be looking at a T3 flanged Garrett style thing, rather than a TD? You're unlikely to push a +T hard enough to need that much fuel. If you're not starting with most of the things you need to do that (ie, the bloody ECU!), you're better off just going Haltech/Link. You wil hate life a lot less. No. Just no. Just turbo it as is.
