These are actaully called Avenir. (1990-2006)

They are a really nice car. Bet they are a lot cheaper to run than the stagea too

lot of pulsar owners use these engines for conversions on their car.

Is their import approval on these, i'd seriously be tempted to get one and sell the stagea.

Theres quite a few of these in NZ. ranging in price from $8-15g. I would still buy the stag as the turbo Avenir is auto only and weighs 1500kg.

I just prefer the stag.

Actually the stagea boot may not appeal to everyone, with the back almost vertical etc, but its very practical and creates a lot more space in the boot. Cant have it both ways really...

You can get manual turbo Avenirs. They are as rare as Stagea manuals though.

I thought the GT4-Z was the manual?

Not bad, but with 1500kg I'd only want one with an rb25 or 26 conversion. In which case I may as well buy a stagea.

all AWD variants of the SR came with dizzy's instead of coil packs.

lol ... after being around AWD Sr's on FWD cars, esp my GTIR powered N14 SSS for so long, anything but a dizzy would look weird on a SR!!
