Nismo 550/555's (cant remember which), i had 740's... never missed a beat

Drop in, no problems.

There are other cheaper ones, Deusch works or something couple hundred cheaper

Sards require a bit of farting around so the cost saving isnt worth it

The nismo inj are pretty cheap now as apposed to probably a year ago.. i got a quote from perfectrun.com.au for $800 to my door.. so in effect if your going to do the works (well not the works just big power) then they will be good for you.

Have many people used the deatchwerks injectors? Just wondering wether its worth risking a motor for saving 2-3 hundred $$ if shit hits the fan like a faulty injector...? Can anyone shed some light on this cos the deatchwerks injectors have to be the CHEAPEST ones i've seen... by far unless its 2nd hand lol

They use the Jecs injectors i think... the standard type nissan inj. ( I could be wrong )

I have a set of 555cc injectors from Deatschwerks. I have read of at least 3 others on this forum using them as well.

Mine have been running for about 2 months and haven't had a problem. The car hasn't been tuned for the new turbo or injectors yet, I just made the appropriate corrections in the PowerFC. I haven't seen them go over 70% duty cycle yet, so they will definately flow enough for my power target.

They re-use factory injectors and replace the main components (buckets and pintle caps I think). The price also includes new o-rings, and you get a pretty flow report with specs for each injector

Having said that, after reading that thread a couple of weeks ago on shaving injectors, I wouldn't be suprised if that is all it really is, just a high tech version of.

Around 7 days from memory

Yea give or take around 7 days... I purchased a set then i wasn't confident in them so i sold em LOL

It worked out cheap... really cheap especially with the rebate! if your standard injectors are good like Lazy-Bastard said you get $25 USD back for em each... works out to around $150usd, the exchange rate will give you about $200.. so in effect your paying around $350 for the injectors... not bad ey?

I just want to know everyones personal experience with the inj, they use the Jecs inj like Lazy-Bastard said, but hmm... i just dunno... I wonder what the moderators think about these inj and the risks involved (if any)

I just recieved my set of Deatschwerks 555cc Injectors on Thursday. took less then 7 days to arrive and will be getting them fitted and tuned using a Haltech E11v2 later this month. I will post up the results including dyno print.

Cheers

Like i'm sure they would be fine with the tune and the results will more than likely be as good as having sards or nismos in there, but what i'm concerned about and i dunno if anyone can vouch for this is wether they will go the distance? i've read the jecs ones leak around the seals or something like that, some people complaining and crap but yea i suppose its pot luck with alot of stuff you buy... even rebuilds can turn to shit cos the tuner/mechanic didnt take the right measures for the abuse the motor is due to take... which i've seen with a few workshops in melb which friends have been to with their cars...

But deatchwerks always say "if there is something wrong with them just send em back to us" and they will replace them.. they're REALLLY REALLY good to deal with and they arn't ones to hide even tho they're in oaklahoma usa.... but eh i suppose its only worth a try

Deatchswerks have supplied thousands of automotive customers through out the years and they seem to be providing a high quality, reliable and excellent priced product. There are many 800 - 1000Hp machines using Deatschwerks 1100+cc high flow injectors without a problem...

When ng on the "shaved" injector theory, the standard RB25DET injectors flowed at approx 720cc with the entire pintle cap removed, therefore a 550 to 720cc highflow is more then capable for the stock injectors.

Cheers
