Hi guys,

for what its worth - just thought I'd say "bye" since I'm moving to brisbane in a week's time (driving up).

So there'll be one less Stagea on adelaide's roads...(white series 2)

Good luck with future cruises/photoshoots and the like. Had a bit of fun at least, hills cruise last august, lobethal cruise, and the west beach photoshoot...

cheerio... >_<

Good luck fella, used to live on the gold coast and was awesome so sure your gonna enjoy yourself, especially testing the car out on all the freeways. If i come up for a holiday will PM and see how your going.

Hey steve,

Are you still going to stick with SAU??

Hope you check out the QLD section and the club they are a great bunch of people

Good luck with the move is this your first time doing it by yourself??

Jess :P

good choice

i wish i could move

less 40 50k zones

less cops hiding in the bush with a speed camera

sexy cars (and babes) at Surfers paradise

dont forget to get your free water tank from the government...to save water

Sad to see you go.

Do you mind me asking why you are leaving? new job oppertunities?

good luck anyway.

Good guess!! Yeah my wife and I both lost our jobs last December and haven't been able to pick up new jobs since then - which makes about 2 months of absolutely no income...has been pretty tough. We're staying with my wife's parents which is very generous of them and my parents have been supporting us financially...

It sounds probably worse than what it is, we have a lot of supporting friends and family so we're quite thankful for that...

but we had to make a decision and having thought of moving to brisbane before, we decided now was a good time to move. We're not even there yet and my wife has 4 interviews (reception/admin/accounts) and I've been promised work the week I arrive there. Thats telling me we've made the right choice. :P

Will be loving the cheaper fuel for sure, and will definitely be staying with SAU. Hoping to meet some stagea owners in brisbane/gold coast on their next cruise, whenever that is...

Is quite hard to leave friends and family behind however...but its for a brighter future for us - and we'll have so much more to catch up on when we're back here on holidays.

:)

I'm married so its just my wife and I. We've moved house before locally which i'm sure lots of people can relate to, but this will be the first time I'll be moving interstate on our own. Its a little bit daunting but we have friends and family there so that will help us to settle in. We are fortunate to know many people in other states through our religion - particularly in brisbane as my family used to live there about 13 years ago.

looking forward to meeting some fellow stagea owners in QLD. should be good fun :)

My Husband and I made the decision to move to Sydney 10 months ago as wasnt going anywere with job prospects and want a change of scenery.

I would have to say it was the best decision we have ever made the minute I got over here I had no trouble finding a job and good jobs too that pay well.

My husband didnt have to worry about that as he transfered within his job. The first month was the hardest as we only knew Family in Sydney but soon made some friends off SAU and at work and its excellent. ;)

I reccommend it to anyone that is thinking about moving to another state...Atleast try it as if you dont like it you can always come back :)

I love Adelaide but just found it to small and couldnt excell in Job prospects.

I wish you the best of luck and I do know some of the SAU QLD member and are great people im sure you will have an awesome time..and come down to Sydney some time and say hello ;)

    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
    • Any going to watch World Time Attack at SMSP this year?
    • Appreciate the correction on the "ground", that will make a huge difference to looking at this. That makes complete sense about AF70/AF71 which is what I had come down to being the issue, one of these. I'll have another look in the ignition wiring when I get a chance next week. I'll also make up a jumper wire for running that AF73 test.  ECU is fine, relay itself is fine, pump harness is fine and the pump itself is fine. I am going to upgrade the Walbro 255 anyway with a DW300 I have since I need to replace the fuel sender and I'm going to upgrade the FPR with my chasebays kit ready for new plenum/injectors/dbw, but I'll get this working first. That's why this is so frustrating.
