explain to me why in drift comps > formula D for example, why do they take there wings off to drift when doing the sharper turned courses?, and im talking about silvia's with 400hp and less ..

???? and back on when doing more straight courses?

To put it simply, once the car goes past about 15 to 30 degrees of angle, the wing offers negligible downforce, and more drag. so on sharper bend courses, where there's more angle and not enough space to reach any speed, they're more of a hindrance than a help

One of the best looking fronts is a s2 front bar with the nismo lip

Theres a pic of a r33 with one on it on these forums but i can't

find it at the moment ;)!

It has the fog lamps removed and is hecka sexy!

That + The gtr grill.

That's the front bar im going for now just need too decide what

skirts and rear bar !

Hows every one feel instead of the steath wing to lift the boot lik an R34 so its flush with ur sides ?

im just pondering where to lift my R33 boot and put a gt wing on or leave it it and just angle the wing ?? ne comments

Don't rate the flush sitting boots personally. I would leave it.

Each to their own.

I have spent quite some time since buying my s2 r33 late last year looking for a kit i like. I finally found 1. It is by Final Konnexian in Japan.

My concern is it seems to be for the s1... will the front fit my s2 if i get a grill too? Will the sides and rear fit?

what people think of the kit overall?

I love the kit, its what I want to fit to mine. luckily I have an S1 so I'm not sure about the fitment to S2. Cant remember who sells these kits in Aus but if you find the distributor they should be able to tell you about the fitment between the two series.

Jetspeed QLD is apparently the only official/licenced distributor of the kit. Is good price too i think so is on the shopping list.

They told me i only need a grill and it will fit s2, but i wanted to check this with people here to see if that advice is correct...???

Hey mate

that is a very nice looking kit my mate had that on his series one 33 just a bit of a heads up though with that front bar he was scraping out everywhere (car wasnt lowered) eventually cracked rite through it and replaced it with the trust front bar which looks pretty tough with these skirts and rear. Also im not completely sure but i would look into weather or not its gona fit properly with a series 2 bonnet before you buy it. Let us know how you go good luck

hey guys what do you think of the monkey warehouse m-sports kit? i thik they are great this is my car i rekon it looks awsome and it still has the stocko s1 wing. what do use think any good

Rate the skirts and rear bar, not the front bar though.

I am looking at buying genuine final konnexion kit (minus front bar) or genuine Msports kit (with series II front bar).

Still deciding..

    • Definitely a good “future upgrade” option if you plan on keeping the car and dialing it in even further.
    • No, you're wrong, and you've always been wrong about this. The Nismo has 2 sets of openings. One is a real 2-way, and the other is a 1-way. There is no 1.5-way possible with the ramps that they offer. A real 1.5-way does exist. That Cusco stuff I posted is a prime example. If the forward drive ramps are, say 55°, and the overrun ramps are, say, 30°, then you will get about half as much LSD effect on overrun than you do on drive. It is real, it realy works. OK, you're slightly right. The Nismo has 55° and 45° ramps on the 2-way, so it does offer less LSD effect on overrun. But, I think that just means that they've (probably) sensibly established that you do not want actually equal LSD effect on overrun. You just want "quite a lot, but not quite as much as the drive LSD effect".
    • Just wanted to unearth this and post my baby with the new front ❤️😝 Took her to my wedding rehearsal today. Next up is getting wide skirts (after wedding)
    • Yea, that is what I was getting at in my ramblings too. The nismo one actually is a 1.5 way and a 1 way. They don't do a *2* way because a true *2* way would have equal ramp angles. Or is that a true 1.5 way? Realistically I think a "1.5 way" does not actually exist. A diff can either lock in two directions or one. It also doesn't help that a LOT of people in Australia speak about 1.5 way diffs are referring to their 1 way diff.
