thought you would col good work

Hey can you delete the thread I made in the QLD section. I put there by mistake

Beat you too it... :)

I cant wait, i was only saying last night to mates at drinks that we need to get out to willowbank asap...

Their responce was well it would have to be a saturday (as they all would have a hard time getting to a wednesday night)...

So i just suggested this date to them like and hour ago and bam here it is...

SAU TNT... Yeah...

if I have my stuff sorted by then im keen

Of course you will Ian...

Even if you dont it would not hurt to get a base line run before you go on the modification trail...

In at this stage!

YEAH... Let Anna have a run too, i let Renee have a run in my car back in July last year... She was a second slower than me, but i smoked the clutch before letting her have a go... >_<

So she did very well to be honest...

she can run the R33 ;)

I will be too busy trying to get running the R32 down to miss out on track time! Once I nail the 12.5 she may be able to have a turn but

If I can find some rims and gumballs for the rear by then I will definitely be in. >_<

Dont worry about it... Just run your street rubber...

It then gives you a good base line to run off when your talking about how fast your car is...

Im just gonna run my daily rubber...

Well I aint. the rubber you guys are calling standard and what I am wearing are 2 different things. >_<

What does that mean???

Forgive me, but i dont understand... Are you saying your rear tyres are worn out already...?

What you been up too in the last 48hours hey? ;)

    • This. The R34 handbrake icon DOES come up when the brake fluid level is low. You might be sitting right on that threshhold. I have been down this diagnosis path and this was the solution (and it was pretty much as full as your picture is to begin with).
    • Unfortunately the cavaet to that is that while any scan tool should be able to read the code, the workshop will need a consult plug to OBD socket adapter. You don't have a location on your profile, where are you based?
    • @Haggerty this is your red flag. In MAP based ECU's the Manifold pressure X RPM calculation is how the engine knows it is actually...running/going through ANY load. You are confusing the term 'base map' with your base VE/Fuel table. When most people say 'base map' they mean the stock entire tune shipped with the ECU, hopefully aimed at a specific car/setup to use as a base for beginning to tune your specific car. Haltech has a lot of documentation (or at least they used to, I expect it to be better now). Read it voraciously.
    • I saw you mention this earlier and it raised a red flag, but I couldn't believe it was real. Yes, the vacuum signal should vary. It is the one and only load signal from the engine to the ECU, and it MUST vary. It is either not connected or is badly f**ked up in some way.
    • @Haggerty you still haven't answered my question.  Many things you are saying do not make sense for someone who can tune, yet I would not expect someone who cannot tune to be playing with the things in the ECU that you are.  This process would be a lot quicker to figure out if we can remove user error from the equation.
