I don't see why he's not warned/banned already, calling other forum members "fked in the head" and general ranting and raving!

Showing the maturity of an 18year old :)

What are you going to do when you "meet up with him" Mr Big man? Teach him a lesson? Go and thump him one?

OK!

Last night I was blown off by this car up Mt Keira, even if I wanted to race the clown, it wouldn't be much of a contest because I had an 8 x 5 trailer on the back with about half a tonne in it.

Now! the fact that this car went past me doing about 120 in 80 zone, I would have expected never to see it again, but no! not the case, on the Bulli Appin Rd guess what's in front of me, stop, start, go like hell, slow to a crawl, go like hell etc etc etc.

On 2 occasions it nearly stopped dead and with the trailer on the back it nearly jack knifed and I was pissed off. Why do they do this, why don't they just go away, what earthly reason did the clown have to do this and not only to me, everyone else he encountered on the road. Like it's wet and at 10 at night. It overtook cars and cut them off, causing the instant reaction to brake, which snowballed down the line.

How many have had a trailer go over on them and take the car with it, it isn't a pretty sight.

I wasn't going to take it anywhere other than maybe talk to the person or send a message through someone he knows, but you all bombarded this thread with sh!t, pissed me off further and this is the result.

Go out and hook up a trailer and go cruising at 100 and have someone do this in front of you and see how you feel.

:)

you know, your bit of a douche...

why didnt you just say you weren't going to kneecap him to start off with? you brought ALL of this upon yourself...

everyone here did the right thing by not giving out personal details...

You still behaved like a total twit on the forums and abused other members. Yes you were angry about your incident on the road but that doesnt mean you can come on here and act like an ass clown

OK!

Does anyone on this forum know a White R33 rego AZZ 24Z?

I would like to make it's acquaintance.

Why did I have to give Chapter & Verse?

For those that know or know of me, it was pretty obvious there was a reason and my fault or not, there was absolutely NO REASON for everyone to carry on the way they did.

I joined SAU because of the noobs in NZ that carried on this way.

If everyone had stuck to the question in hand, nothing would have happened, I wouldn't have got pissed and nothing abusive would have been said.

Something everyone forgets is this:

For EVERY ACTION there is an equally opposite REACTION.

I never abused anyone with my original opening post, my comments were in reaction to the crap that was dished out by adolescent activity.

Even if the Exec members did know who's car it was. They couldnt tell you anyway. Regardless of who you are

Than what???

Ask the question here????

All someone had to say was yes they knew the car, knew the owner and all this would have stopped as I would have taken it to PM's not open forum.

I didn't particularly want the police involved, or not officially.

I thought the people on here like their cars, actually might treasure their cars but I must be wrong eh!

I guess there is a fair percentage that actually condone street racing and this like behavior.

That's a ridiculous conclusion and you know it! :)

If you had have explained the situation you would have got much more help!

you just assumed that that would be the result of yr initial post..

comments were made on the basis that there was nothing in it that told the real story.... try and see it from everyone else's perspective and u'll see wot i mean.

Maybe! and it is only maybe.

There are a lot of Skylines on the road today, many in the hands of P license drivers and by the law of averages there would be quite a number on these forums. Not that all P drivers are idiots, but if they weren't we wouldn't have the insurance and licensing laws we have today.

And why did I have to quote chapter & verse, why can't it be accepted there is a legit reason.

Now! as it is, it's been made official and the car is now a target vehicle.

It didn't have to go this far.

oh well since you put it like that, here, have my credit card details...

Do you lack the ability to comprehend english?

The members of SAU are all for their cars, and all for responsible behaviour on the street and in most cases should a member experience a dangerous situation on the street, members will generally be more than happy to assist in making sure that the appropriate action is taken.

Where you are going wrong, as you have done in the past is approached this in entirely the wrong way, and rather than posting in a constructive manor, you have let your attitude run riot, attacking various forum members in a way that SAU will not tolerate.

You then have the hide to criticise SAU for the way members have responded to your comments, particularly to our female population.

I don't know if its your old age thats causing you to act the way you are, but give it a rest.

We are all here to help each other but if you expect to be able to mouth off at others in the way that you have and not receive hostility from others in return then you are seriously mistaken.

Act your age

You have to be joking!

Tell me where I showed any hostility to anyone FIRST????????

Go look at it. I got bombarded with bullsh!t and you! an administrator are defending the bullsh!t.

I asked a question, I didn't ask for CRAP.

As usual Liz, your suffering from N F I Syndrome.

Let's just say I wish to communicate with the driver/owner.

If they're not on the forums that's ok, but I don't know that it's fair or necessary to share what I want them for, it's sort of a private thing as far as I'm concerned.

And it's WHITE! how many times do I need to stress this point.

If I don't find it this way, there are other ways.

And Liz, I have the perfect cure for N F I Syndrome, it's the same for a crook horse, an ounce of lead between the eyes. Guaranteed success every time & for sure! will never suffer from it ever again.

Aren't you just the typical women! F@#KED IN THE HEAD

Have a nice day!

just a hand to help remind you

    • Did this end up working? Did you take some pictures?
    • And finally, the front lower mount. It was doubly weird. Firstly, the lower mount is held in with a bracket that has 3 bolts (it also acts as the steering lock stop), and then a nut on the shock lower mount itself. So, remove the 3x 14mm head bolts , then the 17mm nut that holds the shock in. From there, you can't actually remove the shock from the lower mount bolt (took me a while to work that out....) Sadly I don't have a pic of the other side, but the swaybar mounts to the same bolt that holds the shock in. You need to push that swaybar mount/bolt back so the shock can be pulled out past the lower control arm.  In this pic you can see the bolt partly pushed back, but it had to go further than that to release the shock. Once the shock is out, putting the new one in is "reverse of disassembly". Put the top of the shock through at least one hole and put a nut on loosely to hold it in place. Put the lower end in place and push the swaybar mount / shock bolt back in place, then loosely attach the other 2 top nuts. Bolt the bracket back in place with the 14mm head bolts and finally put the nut onto the lower bolt. Done....you have new suspension on your v37!
    • And now to the front.  No pics of the 3 nuts holding the front struts on, they are easy to spot. Undo 2 and leave the closest one on loosely. Underneath we have to deal with the wiring again, but this time its worse because the plug is behind the guard liner. You'll have to decide how much of the guard liner to remove, I undid the lower liner's top, inside and lower clips, but didn't pull it full off the guard. Same issue undoing the plug as at the rear, you need to firmly push the release clip from below while equally firmly gripping the plug body and pulling it out of  the socket. I used my fancy electrical disconnect pliers to get in there There is also one clip for the wiring, unlike at the rear I could not get behind it so just had to lever it up and out.....not in great condition to re-use in future.
    • Onto the rear lower shock mount. It's worth starting with a decent degrease to remove 10+ years of road grime, and perhaps also spray a penetrating oil on the shock lower nut. Don't forget to include the shock wiring and plug in the clean.... Deal with the wiring first; you need to release 2 clips where the wiring goes into the bracket (use long nose pliers behind the bracket to compress the clip so you can reuse it), and the rubber mount slides out, then release the plug.  I found it very hard to unplug, from underneath you can compress the tab with a screwdriver or similar, and gently but firmly pull the plug out of the socket (regular pliers may help but don't put too much pressure on the plastic. The lower mount is straightforward, 17mm nut and you can pull the shock out. As I wasn't putting a standard shock back in, I gave the car side wiring socket a generous gob of dialectric grease to keep crap out in the future. Putting the new shock in is straightforward, feed it into at least 1 of the bolt holes at the top and reach around to put a nut on it to hold it up. Then put on the other 2 top nuts loosely and put the shock onto the lower mounting bolt (you may need to lift the hub a little if the new shock is shorter). Tighten the lower nut and 3 upper nuts and you are done. In my case the BC Racing shocks came assembled for the fronts, but the rears needed to re-use the factory strut tops. For that you need spring compressors to take the pressure off the top nut (they are compressed enough when the spring can move between the top and bottom spring seats. Then a 17mm ring spanner to undo the nut while using an 8mm open spanner to stop the shaft turning (or, if you are really lucky you might get it off with a rattle gun).
    • You will now be able to lift the parcel shelf trim enough to get to the shock cover bolts; if you need to full remove the parcel shelf trim for some reason you also remove the escutcheons around the rear seat release and you will have to unplug the high stop light wiring from the boot. Next up is removal of the bracket; 6 nuts and a bolt Good news, you've finally got to the strut top! Remove the dust cover and the 3 shock mount nuts (perhaps leave 1 on lightly for now....) Same on the other side, but easier now you've done it all before
