I'm stuck on the Croatia mission... goddamit, they keep taking out my turrets. :X

Haven't had a chance to look at the name of the mission but is that the one where u need to rescue the convoy and keep your base in one piece so the construction truck can setup camp there? Cause I've played it like 5 times and almost got it back to base but at the last minute and insurgence of nod attacks it... will keep trying but loving the game. Played the Skirmish and selected teh "Alien" race man so nice looking vessels in there army as well as that Tiberium Regenerator saves wasting all that time for it naturally to form.

that's the one.. it's insane... i mean i thought i could take out the base north of it, but even that's so heavily fortified. :S

Didn't even look @ the base at the north?

I manage to take out all the defenses its just right down south of the map there must be a whole clan of em down there or something cause when i got the construction vehicle back to the bridge thats when they ambushed. Will have to try to build more harvesters first and just build crap loads of infantry and vehicles to defend the base and at the same time attack theres...

I've been stuck on that level for 3 days now.

Try doing a suicide mission just to search out the map and workout what is where. Instead of defending your base move your guys out and block off the 2 bridges + 2 access points for the north base, that way they don't get close to your base and potentially damage it. I build 3 harvesters to get enough money to keep me going but even then I can't hold them back long enough to get my reinforcements over.

I just completed that mission YAY! :) 1hr 14mins.

The trick is, get some rifle guys to DIG IN to the SOUTH and WEST straight away. Enable those the turrets to the S and W also.

Then get a rifle guy to dig in NORTH, and evacuate that trench. Once evacuated fill it with rocker launcher guys. As soon as possible build a second harvester. Then start some Predator production. Hold off the vehicles to the EAST and NORTH with the rocket launchers and predators.

As soon as possible build some APCs... and load some with engineers and some with rocket launchers. Once you have enough tanks and APCs rush the northern base, take out the defences, and capture their construction yard with your engineers. Now they can't produce vehicles to attack you to the North and East, so concentrate all your defences South and West. Build a harvester on the captured site. And build some NOD defences on your main base, they're good at taking out foot artillery.

The rest is straighforward, take out the south eastern base, then free your convoy to the north. Get heaps of backup that can take out the buildings that the NOD guys are bunkered down on, and protect your MPC until it gets to your base. Deploy, and then build some stealth tanks to take out any NOD aircraft. Then build a tech center and get some zone troopers to take out the south eastern base.

It's a crazy mission, took about five shots to get it.

Yeah damn straight, I got stuck on Croatia too so I searched the net for strategy guides in frustration. This stage is a monster, even the southeast enemy camp is a pain in the ass, just saving enough pennies to get air transport to get a lift to the high ground to launch an assault sucked.

This will help: http://au.gamespot.com/features/6168146/p-9.html

Howie's right, get those riflemen dug in to the south west and north of your base ASAP, and I built anti tank turrets to the east of the base.

And Mammoth tanks, LOL how freaking cool are those things. If you have four or more them them you're practically invincible, I Love the Sly Stallone voices they put out.

Started playing it yesterday. The mission briefings look so good, kind of immerses you a little.

The game play so far is really cool, and graphics are really great for a RTS game. Heh nods units seem really gimped imo though, that's good for me though since my bro's been nod and I've been GDI since the first C&C :P

Anyone found a good place to download big skirmish maps? The ones your given are kinda crappy to say the least..

    • Totally equivalent. Stock often goes from the comp cover because that's where the actuator is also installed and the factory needs 2" of hose to make the connection - and it comes as a pre-assembled unit. They totally have a boost reference from somewhere between the turbo and the throttle(s). Oh, jeez. Just do it in M12 then. We don't actually care that much. I would expect any such AN converter fitting to rely on an o-ring or some other seal onto a flat surface under the flange of the hex**, because bolt threads are no intended to provide a pressure seal. unlike..... pipe threads. **which also requires a suitably flat and smooth surface on the turbo's boss to provide the seal.
    • I also used NP   That’s were it’s seems to be the best place to fit it? All schematic shows also that it’s should be referenced from the turbo housing. But idk, I do see high hp cars without any connection or anything to their turbos, so I really don’t know how they connect their things
    • I do have loctite 243 and 246 and a few more models. I could drill it now in place and make new threads for m12 and order an4 - m12 coupling and fit that to the turbo. Run a braided hose to the EBC which I could get a an4 to 1/8npt
    • So M12 and sealant should be fine?    NPT ” because that’s what I had and what I could get atm.
    • Wouldn’t touch par if they gave it to me. You need to ask how much power you’re looking to make and then add about 50% to it because that’s what you’ll end up making  The factory box says no more at about 350kw or so, the upgraded synchro boxes won’t handle much over 500kw for long and at that point you’re looking at an auto or dog engagement manual,  once you’ve gone dog engagement you may as well go sequential, they cost a little bit more but it’s worth it  also while you’re at it you should upgrade the transfer case with 10 friction plates
