and whats that got to do with the question he was asking or is asking...?

yet another useless response ...

if u cant keep on topic then dont post...

cheers

It's something you missed and makes it highly unlikely he'll follow through with anything you posted because he wants to sell it (not that he will but that's another story). As for the amount of bullshit in the thread, you reap what you sow, anyone who has read more than one of anDru's posts knows this is a direct result of his behaviour on the forum.

Your advice was sound, my post may have been pointless but that's not for you to judge or really even care.

yet another stupid post.. what can i say ....who cares wether he follows through or not thats not the question ..geez point is he asked a question and if u dont know the answer or cant offer any advice then dont post read the forum rules anything unrelating to topic should be kept off topic .. so yes it does leave me to tell you to shut the f**k up unless u have some input in what the question is being asked...

man another dumb ass.. "u reap what u sow"...ahahah do u understand what this means or are u as smart as a 2cent hooker... read my post there's no bullshit i actually offered advice ...

if there is a problem with the user and what he asked then the admin's should of closed the thread but obviously there isnt ,because its still open so this sounds like your opinon on this matter..no concern of yours unless u take it up with the moderater's and they will take it from there...

so again unless u have some useful info on this topic shut the f**k up ....

cheers....

u should be used too bending over by now because u been bent over twice by me....hahaha

I think it is very interesting that the poor guy has been asking for real input,

yet some of you take his quest as a stupid school boy adventure.

1. if ya do a search, there will be heaps of info for you. go for the 300kw!

2. The whole package of the car needs to be upgraded like some of the guys said..

3. get life insurance!

4. BRAKES! BIG STINKIN BRAKES!

5. Lots of driver education.

6. big wheels don't mean real grip! Tyres are the only thing keeping you on the road, buy the stickest treads on the market!

7. More driver education..

8. Visit some racetracks and learn your cars potential, so you don't become another dead kid in an import!

9. by now u will realise the suspension isn't coping with the power.. see an expert! other racers will point you right!

Thats my 2c worth

Yes the list goes on and on.....until you have built a car that you can barely drive...your clutch will give your neck muscles.....the noise will deafen you..

the cops will be harassing you and your parent will be praying for you.

But back to the topic........this bitching about all this RWKW's and AWKW's and some has 350rwkw's and some one with the same mods has 230rwkw's has to stop....

We all have to know that these are just figures and can not relate to drive...performance day to day...If she is a guzzler...or just a pig to drive with

bad..hard or too soft suspension...

Really boys......it is time for a dyno day...to back up these figures most of you say you have...

Same dyno same settings and conditions.........then most of you can put your readings down and some of you can put your readings up....

Oh by the way.....change your turbo's...boost it up to 20psi...get some rocket fuel or advan....and rev it to 7500RPM...

This will give you a great result and then you can rave about how your car is 300rwkw's.....lol

My point was,

any vehicle with a very strong power curve needs to be thought out..

300kw in a standard~ish car = big trouble!

rule of thumb, whatever you spend on the engine,

at least tripple that, for the rest of the cars upgrades. Brakes, suspension, clutch, lsd/locker, rims, tyres.. radda radda radda..!

I admire the poor fella. he has takin a brow betting from some of you, yet he persists!

He knows what he wants, and is willing to spend the coin to get there..

How many of you had big plans, and all the youthfullness he has..?

Keep us all posted. That way we know your still alive..! lol

It's nice to see younger modders walking the same path!

infected flow and GTST Sedan have both earned themselves warnings for their continuing bullshit. I am pretty lenient but when you persist with arguing and name calling then warning come out.

    • Hi, SteveL Thank you very much for your reply, you seem to be the only person on the net who has come up with a definitive answer for which I am grateful. The "Leak" was more by way of wet bubbles when the pedal was depressed hard by a buddy while trying to gey a decent pedal when bleeding the system having fitted the rebuilt BM50 back in the car, which now makes perfect sense. A bit of a shame having just rebuilt my BM50, I did not touch the proportioning valve side of things, the BM50 was leaking from the primary piston seal and fluid was running down the the Brake booster hence the need to rebuild, I had never noticed any fluid leaking from that hole previously it only started when I refitted it to the car. The brake lines in the photo are "Kunifer" which is a Copper/Nickel alloy brake pipe, but are only the ones I use to bench bleed Master cylinders, they are perfectly legal to use on vehicles here in the UK, however the lines on the car are PVF coated steel. Thanks again for clearing this up for me, a purchase of a new BMC appears to be on the cards, I have been looking at various options in case my BM50 was not repairable and have looked at the HFM BM57 which I understand is manufactured in Australia.
    • Well the install is officially done. Filled with fluid and bled it today, but didn't get a chance to take it on a test drive. I'll throw some final pics of the lines and whatnot but you can definitely install a DMAX rack in an R33 with pretty minor mods. I think the only other thing I had to do that isn't documented here is grind a bit of the larger banjo fitting to get it to clear since the banjos are grouped much tighter on the DMAX rack. Also the dust boots from a R33 do not fit either fyi, so if you end up doing this install for whatever reason you'll need to grab those too. One caveat with buying the S15 dust boots however is that the clamps are too small to fit on the R33 inner tie rod since they're much thicker so keep the old clamps around. The boots also twist a bit when adjusting toe but it's not a big deal. No issues or leaks so far, steering feels good and it looks like there's a bit more lock now than I had before. Getting an alignment on Saturday so I'll see how it feels then but seems like it'll be good to go
    • I don't get in here much anymore but I can help you with this.   The hole is a vent (air relief) for the brake proportioning valve, which is built into the master cylinder.    The bad news is that if brake fluid is leaking from that hole then it's getting past the proportioning valve seals.   The really bad news is that no spare parts are available for the proportioning valve either from Nissan or after market.     It's a bit of a PITA getting the proportioning valve out of the master cylinder body anyway but, fortunately, leaks from that area are rare in my experience. BTW, if those are copper (as such) brake lines you should get rid of them.    Bundy (steel) tube is a far better choice (and legal  in Australia - if that's where you are).
