Anyone got anymore shots of these rear pods from different angles? Would also like to know if anyone makes them, word is that east bear dont make em anymore

Forged - any decisions on getting that Top Secret front bar for Gt-t? I'd like to see one fitted up b4 deciding on one so if anyone's got this front bar fitted to a Gt-t, please post pics.

Are you talking about the GTT bar to fit GTT or the GTR bar to fit GTT.

As i have posted a pic of the GTT to fit GTT top secret front bar about five posts above this one if this is what you are looking for.

Guys, I found a company that can supply a replica of the above TS GTR bar to suit GTT.

post-25499-1184835332_thumb.jpg

However TOP SECRET also makes a different bar dedicated for R34 GTT as below:

or

Im refering to the replica Top Secret GTR front bar to fit a Gt-t(top pic), as mentioned by Forged earlier. The other replica Top Secret front bar pictured below just doesn't quite tickle my fancy. I know its missing the bottom CF lip but ignoring that, it still dont look quite right. I think the one above must be bigger all round & have a bigger FMIC hole?? The bottom Ts bar also have a lip all round the bottom which just dont look right IMO.

So if some has got the top TS front bar fitted to their Gt-t, im very interested in some pics, the fit & quality.

Cheers

Hey Forged,

You understand that you need a GTR bonnet to fit the GTR replica bar!!!!

The hole in both bars is massive trust me as i have the gtt top secret bar on my car and my 600 x 300 x 80 intercooler doesn't even cover the whole.

Well hope you can find what you want as i have what i want and it turns heads like nothing else.

Veilside :) where u bought it from ? how much it worth ? wana do something on mine too..

I managed to buy it off from another GTT owner who just imported the car. Since it was to low for his liking, it was a blessing to get a good deal from him. The Veilside website still have them listed for the GTT & GTR. Hope you can order them from here : http://www.veilsidejpn.com/

 You got PM !

Actually the bar you want is sold from Jet speed... Its remade for the GTT .. its identical to the original

Is that a reply to the Top Secret GTR replica front bar DECIM8? Hows the quality & fitting on JetSpeed's kits? I heard Carmate also makes a TS replica but its fit is not perfect

Finally found a Top Secret front bar for the Gt-t that is almost identical to the real Top Secret GTR. Available from Just Jap.

Anyone has this front bar or know of JustJap's quality & fit of their kits?

Hi mate,

Yes I can help you with those pods as I was the one that made them and fitted them to the car. Do you want them?

cheers.

Side skirts r Bomex, rear bar is not. Looks abit like a GTR rear bar, cant tell exactly which rear bar it is from that angle.

Mr DMD, pm sent.

Anyone here has a front bar from Just Jap or fitted one, i would like to know the quality and fit of them.

G Force

That just jap bar is identicle to what GTautostyle sells. I reckon there even from the same supplier.

When you see it on my car u'll know why. Pics up soon.

certain modifications required prior fitting, its never the case of direct bolt-on perfect fitment with these fibreglass copies. a capable fibreglass shop plus a good paint job should make it look spectacular in photos but even then you will know where its been compromised (only you will know). so if youre a perfectionist just get a second hand genuine impul or TS bar from Japan.

I had a look on the GT Autostyle site awhile back and couldn't find a similar TS bar. Well since ur getting one fitted, im looking fwd to seeing the results, pm me when its done just in case i havnet been checking this thread.

If it fits pretty well with minor fibreglassing req'd thats he front bar ill be getting, probably with Impul skirts, still looking for a rear bar.

Impul front bar is ok, genuine TS bar - i may as well sell the car and buy a GTR, it would cost an arm & a leg for the kit :(

that rear bar is nice!

  • 2 weeks later...
that would be a full do luck kit actually

im not sure about this one but the front is defiently veilside, not sure about the side skirts (N style rear bar i believe)

i would highly suggest staying away from veilside when it comes to r34s.

    • Yeh I think i'll message an old contact i had for ages that manages his own tyre shop now.. n tell him what i want n work with him before ordering..  Got this 17x9 +30 Driftteks on 245/45/17 PSR Drag Radials on the rear.. They fit well - for your reference in future - Rear guards  have been lipped in & minimal to non flaring of the rear Gaurds.
    • If only it were that easy! I also needed to remove seats, shocks, brake calipers, send my car through a fence, and use measuring and ended up guessing because I didn't remove seats, shocks and brake calipers. It can be hard sometimes Can be a little more complex than 'just measure' if you want to truly measure the entire wheel through all of it's suspension travel. But if you aren't going for every last mm then yeah, you can check the space you currently have and guesstimate.
    • If you own a car, and it has wheels on it, and you know the offset of those wheels, and you have a measuring device, you have everything you need to work out if other wheels will fit.
    • Will this fit? but they are staggered set - RAYS 57DR SEMI GLOSS BLACK 18x8.5 +37 | 18x9.5 +38 5-114.3 STAGGERED SET   or If no go could just get a set 4's wheels of 18x8.5 +37 5-114.3 - would i run 8.5's 235s up front n 245's at the back if I do?   Thanks.
    • Put a clamp on your return line. I have a feeling it's sucking air, and introducing bubbles to your fuel. With a lot of fuel, less problematic. I'd honestly be redoing all the lines in the tank and clamps on everything.   Also, you've given two different answers to the same question: Asked if being followed by the police you could get down to use the whole tank, you said yes you could, so long as you keep off boost. However, you then followed this up that free revving, it would also cause the issues. I'm doubting free revving is enough to make any noticeable boost on what is likely a decent sized turbo.   So now I have to ask, can you actually drive it lightly and use all the fuel, or does it break up even free revving? Also, have you put a fuel pressure gauge on it? Can you hear the pump change noise at all when you're having this issue?
