I've noticed an unusually large amount of Police vehicles on the road the last couple of days. In a normal trip across Sydney I might usually see 2 or 3... Yesterday I saw 15, and again this morning I saw a bunch more! Does anyone know if there's a reason for this?

Yea I have noticed this too.. I saw like 5 the other night.. I never see any! Maybe there actually getting up off there butts and doing what they should be doing..

The only thing is there is never a cop when you need them >.<

there were 7-8 standing on glenfield station... i guess they were checking tickets.. are they transit officers too? i dont think they have the authority to fine you or even demand you show them a ticket.. oh well.

what are they doing that for when there are plenty of p platers out there to catch

Bugger that... send all coppers tot he train stations!

Less P Platers getting busted for stupid shit = less stereotype that all modified car drivers are morons!

You guys must have all the coast cops .... there has been an unusual LACK of police on the F3 during peak hour lately! I haven't seen a cop on the road in over a week (F3 or the coast) . Having said that I haven't been on the oph for that long either! Could be where they all are :D

Although they did have a RBT set up at Kariong last night at 5.30pm!

i like some...

though when you call the police to make a report about underage drinking and kids smashing bottles on or near cars, then those cops come and harass you for it... it makes you want to punch them in the testicles...

my car has been off the road... maybe they're looking for that :D silly fuzz :D

    • So either way it is gearbox out and look what is wrong?  I know about the input shaft bearing. Even before swap/new clutch the it sounded exactly like this: So is that inout shaft bearing or the other was installed backwards?  And can some please tell me the part number for that input shaft bearing? The gearbox is small box from R34 N/A and number is FS5W71C. Thank you
    • I am yet to see anyone ever regret a quaife or helical. ...other than drifting/skidpan duties. I kind of want to upgrade my factory helical with a Quaife (but really it's not ultimately that different, and is a MASSIVE UNDERTAKING), that's how good the hype is about them, that I want to try them 'just to see'
    • D2 and Ksport are essentially the same thing and basically just generic Taiwanese manufacture. Better than ChinaBay crap, but... not top shelf. Öhlins have got to be some of the best dampers around, so likely to be a good option. It's going to get to the point though where I suggest you buy from Oz. We have at least 2x excellent options here. If I were you though, I'd be talking to KW about doing something for the R33. There's bugger all difference between that and the 32. In GTR land, anyway.
    • KW only offers a set for the R32 GTR. Popular options are D2 racing, Ksport or Öhlins. I have a D2 Racing coilover set, though I don't know for sure which one.
    • Well, the good news is you have more than one very good option for new coilovers in and around your country. Worth the drive over to KW to talk about GTR stuff.
