I marched today at Greenbank RSL. Was one of the shorter marches I've done.

It is important that we remember them and there sacrifice, and it is also important that we remember why they sacrificed and what they were defending - Australianism.

For my part I did the main Anzac day parade in brisbane city today, was my 3rd anzac day march. This year I was gun-crew in one of the macs pulling the M198's (huge-ass gun on wheels). It was good to see so many kids getting involved with it this year (we had kids coming up giving us drinks, asking for photos, we had a troop of cub-scouts want to be shown the trucks).

^^ Ok hun, i gave it ago, the size of the pics are right, but my net is sooo slow its acually not loading it onto SAU......ill just send them to you now via txt/ mms, and you can hopefully find away to chuck them up ......sorry i tried.

I was so proud of Ian today, stiff as a board sitting there on the massive truck in his formal military outfit hehe!

Today was the first day i truely celbrated Anzac day, i dont have many generations abouve me that are Australian than most would but i was glad i came to watch the parade, it was a better turnout that i had expected and was really interesting.

The atmosphere to comemorate those who have fallen fighting for our country was light hearted and ended up as a pretty big turnout....and well of course i was proud of Ian.

Thanks to all of those who have/ and are servicing Australia's fine land for freedom and liberty.

Today was your day to shine, and be commended for all that you have done.

Went to the marches in the city today great turn out, good to see the old diggers proudly marching along.
