My car is currently wingless too... looks plush and elegant but less sporty...

what you do is get it welded like I did, then go to Supercheap Auto - buy a matching (best suited) spraycan then spray it... then get it waxed... should look ok... have it wingless, don't get a ugly-arse stealth wing... makes it look more pussy...

Good luck mate...

I take some pics soon and will share it with you.

Personly i think any skyline with the wing removed looks shit , and espicially those people that take them off and just put tape over the holes !!

and on the 33's taking the wing off looks like crap IMO because u are left with the rear guards having a bit poking up where the boot is and looks like somthing is missing.

but dont get me wrong if done right it can look half decent but out of 100 i have seen with out the wing 99.99999999999999999 look shit , to me :D

It does look a bit weird without a wing from the back, but from the side and front it looks good... my wing is off at the moment but i'm trying to think wether to get a drift wing or leave it as it without one and get the holes welded up... looks heaps different compared to the GTR wing i had..

obviously people are all gonna react differently to this wing or no wing issue. I'm just saying imo without wing it looks like its missing something. Maybe the new owner liked the look, or maybe he didn't care because he can always put a wing on and the fact the car is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO well kept probably helped the sale.

Yeah i think this is something you can't say wether its bad or good it really depends on the car itself, there's this nice black 33 that goes round my area with no wing at all but the boot is flush with the sides and it looks sooooo nice, but personally i dont think you can go wrong with a GTR wing :)

I took my GTR wing off cos it looks out of place on a gtst with no body kit... but they look unreal on a actual GTR... the wing is just too big for a gtst

    • Yes the gear for the R33/34 is different, it is red and has a different number of teeth. My part didn't come with that gear though, so I don't know how many teeth are on the red one. You'd have to reuse the 260RS/R33 gear, as long as it's not destroyed.   Haha, as unfortunate as that might be it was working fine for about the first 1500km I've had the car for now.
    • Update all   thanks to the workshop manual, it lead me back to checking fuses as mentioned central locking and door open lights worked when acc was switched on. diagram attached shows two points of power 1. ACC and 2.  Batt with the later being fused (#28) I did check the fuses using a multimeter but I must have stuffed that up also. Went back and checked the batt fuse in interior fuse box and you wouldn’t believe it… a blown fuse. replaced fuse and everything is now working as it should including the climate control   thank you all with your positive insight and knowledge.

    • Duncan is correct. Pitwork (and Toyota's own cheap brand "Drive Joy") were primarily created as brands to sell other manufacturers car parts. It would be weird if Nissan sold parts for Toyota vehicles with a Nissan logo on it, so they created Pitwork to sell parts for other brans Toyota, Honda etc. They are not the same as Nissan genuine parts, although they *do* meet Nissan's standards for replacement parts. They aren't supposed to be a substitute for genuine parts, but a cheaper alternative that is better than Ebay fake parts from you-know-where.
