I'm certain i saw this advertised on here privately a while ago but for the life of me I can not find the original thread or any information on this car. it was sold to a dealer which sold it to http://www.autowholesale.com.au/

http://www.carsales.com.au/pls/carsales/...amp;model_id=73

and yes i realise they are asking an amazingly ridiculous price.

looking for any info

Im not entirely sure if it came from japan to WA, or elsewhere in aus first, i think it may have been an eastern state car before comming to WA, nathan/gt51r if he reads this might be able to clarify..

its a genuine veilside produced car tho, think there was 20 of them made, that add claims ten tho, i recall it being more, initially had a t78 on it, was swapped for the t88 and a tune was done at the time by aj at speedworks <no longer works there> not sure if its been tuned again since then, but is highly possible..

it swapped hands from nathan to someone else, who then sold it to autowhole sale, i think, last time i saw it, it was at c-red getting a new clutch...

the price take is a bit silly, i seem to think it went for a lot less than that..

be a nice unique buy, but not for those bucks, given that im pretty sure the motor is internally standard...

A guy i know (Vince) owned this car for a while before swapping it for a mustang.

If your chasing some history, i see him most weeks.

This has been spoken about here before when it hade the number plate 600HP.

Search maybe?

Wasn't this originally brought in by UPI? I remembered seeing it at Dean's shop with the plates BNR32 in Vic. I heard that this car went to WA and exchanged hands quite a few times.

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
