no its not valid excuse as u would still be breaking the law. if the car in front of you is going a little slow, then bad luck. if they're going well below the speed limit, then u shouldn't have an issue overtaking them doing the speed limit

Yeah well that's what you're meant to do..... according to the law.

It's probably the situation that more motorists speed than any other due to the inherent danger of being on the wrong side of the road, which is much greater than speeding. I for one will speed as much as I have to to get around a slower car - no matter how slow/fast they are - as quickly as possible. The less time you're on the wrong side of the road the better. Long distance trips are so much longer if you stay behind a slightly slower vehicle too. 10 kph may not sound like much but drive for 10 hours & you've got an extra hour still to drive. Also brings up the issue of driving fatigue, the longer you're on the road, the more dangerous you become. All issues that the law never considers

Totally agree with ya Jared, been doing daily trips to Cape Jervis from my place in Golden Grove (about 140odd k's one way) and I have to say that those 10k's/h make a shit load of difference and when I overtake other cars I sure as shit don't sit in the other lane for any longer than I have to

lol

so all those times I overtook cars on my bike at 260kmph were ok?

lol I highly doubt it.

at the end of the day tho you have the right to have your say in court (if charged with an offense), say what youve got to say to defend your actions but at the end of the day we are all rqd to be accountable for our actions.

tangles, i think maybe 20km/h over the limit is negligable when overtaking a piece of shit dump bucket car.... 130km/h over speedlimit, HAHA different story, i dont think u were overtaking him cause u had to, i think u approached him at 200km/h and said "f*kit" wAAAAAAAAAAAA!

i have one simple question to the lampooners among you..

You that are the first to drill the moron need to ask yourselves,,.." have you ever been 200 kph in your car?" and since i know the answer is yes ask yourself this one..." was it in an 80 zone?" dont bother answering. It doesnt frickin matter...200 is still way over the limit.

Hypocrites...too many hypocrites.

only advice..dont get caught.

The only advice is don't do it.

You wonder why cops nab us with mods and treat us unfairly. Take alook at yourselves and grow up ffs.

cars don't kill people, people kill cars.

even better : high performance cars dont kill people, low performance drivers do.

i bet you everyone here is not capable of driving their cars to the limit. Every single person on here would be an under performing driver. You get in your car with a real driver that races and you will see just how mediocre you all are.

That goes for myself as well by the way.

speak for yourself buddy. Just because you claim to be an under performing driver does'nt mean i am too. I not saying i cant drive a car to ITS limits but i know MY limit and i do race and have had professional training. Id gladly run rings around you for being so conceited. Just so you know, a machine is only as good as its driver or didnt they teach you that when you took your driving/racing school for dummies course??

driving at that speed is stupid on public roads! it doesn't matter if you're a shit driver or a good driver! traveling at 200 kph is more than double 80kph so that minuses more than half the time to react and the distance to do something about it! which would increase the percentage of having an accident by half! speed limits are put in for a reason e.g. the 50kph in suburban areas! it's your choice if you want to speed but I'm not gonna drive around like a nut and make the risk percentage go up! there's a time and place for driving fast and it's where performance cars were made for, the track!

took the words right out of my mouth..

by the way, what kind of car do you drive NOS man?

    • Yeah I also looked at Plazmaman, but, it ended up alot  cheaper getting black ones through EFI when you also added in the delivery cost
    • Nice shot! They look super clean. The roof rack delete on the black one is interesting. Would like to see more pictures from different angles. It's subtle but could make quite a difference to how the car looks in profile.
