Aarlan People are very dumb they will try anything these days... u want my car + 5k my way??

ha ha just kiddin..

Free Bump :P

burnsie, thanks for the offer but id have to decline, im really trying hard to get myself out of the performance scene so i can not be poor all the time haha, but yeah thanks anyways!.

although ive got large plans for this car should it not sell! as i said im quite happy to keep this car, but for my future financial benefit id hope it does haha

so someone help me out here!

Mate let me know if ur interested in a swap plus cash ur way...

I have a 96 R33 S2 with mods listed in signature....same with mods....vary responsive car and is still good on fuel condsidering....get 400kms of the 42L.

has cd, pioneer 6" front and rears, 12" kenwood sub. car only has 62,000kms on the clock and has been serviced every 4000kms religiously.

Im looking to hit up a godzilla and dont want the hassle of selling my car or organising a loan...

let me know if your interested....

mate this is a bargain, your right I think our market is dead, p plate drivers can no longer drive turbo cars. good luck with the sale.

mate can i entice u again with some more pics.....

i know u want to pay off ur loan but would this make you feel ok to paying it off a little longer....

thanks for the offer again dude, but i will have to decline as id rather keep my car if im going to get something again in roughly the same price range. no offense but it will also be a large downgrade (performance wise) for me with little to no advantage financially.

cheers

FBOOST - pm sent

I CANT BELIEVE ITS COME TO THIS - LAST EXCLUSIVE PRICE DROP FOR SAU ONLY - $19,000 FIRM!!!!!!!

I'll keep all the prices the same for other forums + carsales!! I've calculated the mods included and its about ~$15,000+ worth including workshop labour!!

this is the time to buy a bargain GTR with the right mods! why buy one of those cheapo stock gtr's when they have no history and you have to start from scratch??? modding a GTR for reliability and performance isnt cheap as all of us 'R' owners know!!

save yourself the time and money and get one that has all the necessary bits - its ready to go in any motorsport direction you desire

well still mite have the car by then! you can always come to syd and check it out :)

i've got all the import papers as well, so shouldnt be a problem with re-registering for interstate buyers

    • The chart of front pressure to rear pressure (with one being on the x axis and the other being on the y axis) is not a straight line on a typical proportioning valve. At lower pressures there is a straight line with one slope, and at higher pressures that changes to a lower slope. That creates a bend in the line at that pressure, called the knee point. If you do not change the proportionng as the pressure gets higher, you will suffer excessive pressure (at one end of the car or the other, depending on which way you look at the proportioning action) and then get lockups at that end. The HFM BM57, from my memory of previous discussions, is based on the BM57 from a different car (to a Skyline), with a different requirement for the location of the knee point and the distribution of pressure front to rear, and so is not a good choice for an upgrade on a Skyline. Here's a couple of links to some old posts, one from here, one from elsewhere. A lot of it pertains to adjustable prop valves, but the idea is the same. There are plenty of discussions on here about this issue from al the many years of people wanting a cheap/accessible option. https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/ https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/
    • Yeah dunno why johhny posted that here with no context, just post on FB/insta bro where he put it up?  Laine had an off at T4 during Thurs prac, he's ok, car is less than perfect, they are done for the weekend, he can fill in the rest. Bando also binned it like 100m up the road.
    • I feel there must have been a FB/insta post and the weekend did not start well at all I hope everyone is all okay
    • Yeah, I guess its pretty easy to get to if this doesn't work. Just wait till next oil change and pull it out. I am going to have to do the oil pan gasket soon and thought I'd just replace it while I was there.  Thanks
    • All that matters is you're safe and you were able to type that post. Hopefully heaps of parts you can recover for the next shell.
