Kaido_RR
lol Yamauchi hasn't ruled out adding crash damage as downloadable content, and we'd predict if this happens it will probably be in late 2059 / early 2060. i dont want crash damage so no lost to me hehe Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/175232-gran-turismo-5-confirmed/#findComment-3211570 Share on other sites
typevu
Disappointingly it's also been revealed that crash damage for the game will not be in the title because some companies don't want to see their beloved vehicles smashed up. lol........ predator
Previous date has always been mid-2008 for Japan.. We've always received Gran Turismo 6-12 months after that. I would say it won't be that long this time around, but I'd say late 2008 IF WE'RE LUCKY to hit the holiday season.. more likely into 2009. Could be up to 2 years away.. Crash damage offending manufacturers is b.s. - as Forza 2 has it? it's a good gameplay feature, and stops you just deliberately bashing off walls and opposition to cheat. It will be sorely missed from Gran Turismo IMO. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/175232-gran-turismo-5-confirmed/#findComment-3217861 Share on other sites
swanny180
Hmmm it really should have crash damage... Still, its reason enough to start saving for a ps3 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/175232-gran-turismo-5-confirmed/#findComment-3217892 Share on other sites

dnbutts
as kralster always bangs on at work 'if forza can convince manufactorers to allow their cars to be smashed up, then why cant GT5' f*ck you sony. Pauly33GTS-t
Id rather go around the track without smashing ppl and produce good laptimes anyway. Theres nothing like a clean overtake. NickR33
forza FTW!... lose your front bar then come around on the next lap and smash it into a million pieces hehe Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/175232-gran-turismo-5-confirmed/#findComment-3227058 Share on other sites
kralster
Id rather go around the track without smashing ppl and produce good laptimes anyway. Theres nothing like a clean overtake. Well rubbing is racing. No matter how you spin it, not having crash damage is stupid in a game touted as "the real driving simulator" cos real cars get damage when the hit stuff. Pauly33GTS-t
But good drivers dont hit stuff. simple as that dont argue kralster you do it too much. If good drivers rubbed and hit stuff then 80 percent of skyline drivers = micheal shumacher. kralster
no i said rubbing is racing, not rubbing is driving. You'd be hard pressed to find a race anywhere in the world where there isn't one accident and there is no damage to any cars. And of course i'm going to argue if you are wrong. Need i remind you of the GT 5 release date? Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/175232-gran-turismo-5-confirmed/#findComment-3227183 Share on other sites

sh@un
Read in the interview with Kazunori Yamauchi in Wheels yesterday- Apparently it takes 180 man-days to 3D design each car in full. Expect 100% photo-realism. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/175232-gran-turismo-5-confirmed/#findComment-3254501 Share on other sites
