Ambz, you don't need to associate with the likes of MCCR.

I have some unresolved issues with admin over there, and I am free to post, but I choose not to, because they honestly have no idea about anything.

One night a few of us went for a little drive, and we were literally terrorised by a bunch of cars with MCCR stickers on.

These cars were speeding, changing lanes dangerously, trying to run us off the road, and just making @ssholes out of themselves.

I went and started a thread asking for an explaination of the behaviour.

They responded by removing my post, and telling me that "if I have a problem, I should take it up with an admin"

Well, the problem wasn't with an admin, the problem was with the illegal and dangerous behaviour of the people involved in games at 80+kph on a public road. :)

I was told off for 'attacking' members, when all I was trying to do, was draw attention to the fact that people see them when they are out on the road, and people notice that they have MCCR stickers on their cars, and how the irrational actions of a few morons reflects on them all.

I was fobbed off.

Not good enough.

/end rant

Hey Ambz girl....

I cant believe you got banned!!!

They must have some serious issues if they are going to ban you over something stupid like that.

It was ok when there were less ppl in the club... now that they have gotten so big, they think theyre sh!t dont stink... and theyre heads are too far up their own asses to know which ends which.

Last cruise i went to was the RCH.. only cos it was for charity..

I have found my new home... and you guys have made me feel really welcome..

Thanx GuYs!!!!!

Oh and Ambz... if you need a shoulder luv.. im just around the corner..lol

I've done nothing but try and help the people that have been banned in this situation, but thanks for your 2 cents about the situation, I would not have slept tonight without knowing that vitaly important information. :)

mr smoothline i'd appreciate that you do not bag muzza's for the simple fact that im one.  There are people in every race that speak shit! and there are great people in every race too.  If you have an opinion about some race keep it quite.

thanks

fcuk off mark, you are too sensitive to be a muzza

WTF so James and Ambz got banned ! tsk tsk this is not good. Man ever since Autosalon the newbie and hero presence has doubled on the MCCR forums, and every muzza and his cousin is on there. When i first joined admins like Ash and Ben made me feel welcome and i got a real understanding of cars, in the past yr i hav learnt a lot, its a pity that there so many groups within MCCR that it puts ppl against each other, but as the club grows its only gonna get worse. i now see MCCR as a tool to communicate wit friends that i met thru MCCR and as a steppin stone to other clubs.

It was James and Amber who pointed me in the direction of SAU when i got my skyline last yr and im greatful. id rather be in a club wit 50 members anyday than a club wit 2500 !

Ash dont get me wrong cruises like the regulars and hipo's r always good, y because u know the drivers and its purely about man and machines not the itty bitty little bitch sessions that always happen on opens because of some skank in irc

Amber i hav to totally agree wit u about Cat, last yr my friends were ready to smack her out at Autosalon she was the biggest bimbo and the number of times shes jumped on the forums and said the stupidest things, eg "How dumb is it to badge a Mirage as Kompressor", when in fact it was Chris's mirage that was super charged, pfffft so many things

Well im not ready to throw in the towel yet, i've been wit MCCR for about a yr now and well i've met a lot of good ppl, but far more dodgy ppl, and wit the forums and IRC a brother cant help but get into trouble over punani !

    • Agree with Rob. I recently did mine and replacing with a brand new unit made the most sense compared with rebuilding my existing gearbox.
    • Are you suggesting that the kit did a cheap and nasty job of just jamming the wheel in between other things and caused the misalignment? I mean, we normally do this with an integrated crank trigger wheel, not something bodged on. It's not 1995 any more.
    • I mean, given the number of BMWs you own their tolerance for improper torque is rather low. The number of torque + angle spec bolts and non-reusable bolts in one is nuts.
    • Atmospheric vent requires something that doesn't use a MAF for load. You would need a standalone ECU for that.
    • Hey all,   I’ve got an RB25 with a trigger kit that includes a crank wheel, and I’ve hit a wall trying to sort a timing belt tracking issue. The belt either rides right on the edge of the cam/crank pulleys or walks slightly forward once the engine starts. It tracks okay-ish for a moment, then creeps right to the edge—and honestly, it’s stressing me out.   I’ve spent hours removing and reinstalling the belt, double-checking everything:   Tensioner setup is good, checked multiple times Idler pulley and washers are all in the correct places Followed the RB25 timing procedure step-by-step     The only thing I changed was the rear crank washer—I swapped the OEM one for a Neato version, and it made things worse. The belt now sits even more forward than before. I’m beginning to think the crank trigger wheel itself (from the trigger kit) is the issue—poor design or slightly off dimensions.   What’s strange is that with the previous belt setup, it actually ran fine for a couple of years—around 4,000 to 5,000 miles, even with hard driving and high RPMs. But even then, the belt was always riding right on the edge, and I know that’s not ideal or safe long term.   At this point, I’m debating whether to:   Machine a few mm off the crank trigger wheel to bring it back in line, or Replace it entirely with a better-designed unit     Only thing is, I already have the Cherry Hall sensors, bracket, etc.—I just want to replace the wheel only, not the entire kit. Anyone know a brand or supplier that sells just the crank trigger wheel on its own?   Would really appreciate any feedback—especially from anyone who’s run into this exact issue and found a reliable fix.   Thanks in advance.
