Damn i wish I had spare cash lying around atm >.<

If you want one but don't have the cash don't worry too much because if we don't get 20, but get close, dez and justin are going to buy a few more sets to make up the numbers, and they'll just sell them on here when the group buy is over

Payment made

Let me know when you've received it :nyaanyaa:

I'll mark you down as soon as its in champ :domokun:

Hey i want to buy this for my brother as a present, can anyone do the recalibration for me? if so, consider me down.

If you know anyone that knows how to use a soldering iron they'd be able to do it for you...if not, an auto elec would almost certainly be able to do it with the provided instructions, and it should really cost VERY LITTLE as its just a bit of solder...let me know if you want to be included and i'll put you on the list :domokun:

I'm in WA, so probably won't help you tho

Haven't you received my payment :)

I paid on the weekend, should've come through. Let me know when you get it.

hasn't shown up yet mate, I'd say it should by tomorrow though. I'll update the list as soon as it does :(

I would be interested in a black set if they come for R33 S2... S2 dash is slightly different to S1. If this is definitely available and proven for S2 PM me.

PM sent.

Hey guys,

Payment was made today, should clear tomorrow, was made right on cutoff (4pm) if not it'll be Friday.

Hey I'd also like to know if there is any problems fitting these to a series 2 as my car is also a S2. To look at the pictures supplied the faces look identical, I suppose the question is whether we will have problems with the calibration, is it as simple as bridging out a pad like in the series one clusters???

Thanks,

Jaron.

Guys as i've just told Xizor in a PM, the series 1 and 2 clusters are identical with the exception of the way the warning lights are grouped (individually seperated on the s2, grouped on the s1 as pictured in the first post of this thread) these warning lights do not affect the speedo/tacho/fuel/oil/boost etc faces at all, and the kits will fit the same way on both s1 and s2 :)

Payment list has been updated.

Jaron: I'll mark you off as paid as soon as the $ shows up in the account :)

19 people on the list now guys, 6 payments confirmed and a few more on their way!

we're lookin good, just need everyone else to pay up and we'll all be enjoying our 300km/h speedos in no time!!!

    • The final part arrived today to un-clampify and simplify the intake Who would have though a 1/2" hose stainless bulkhead fitting designed for below waterline bilge pumps would be what I needed Test fit on a 3" offcut I had laying around to see if it would work, and it worked a treat All going well the intake will be on its "final version" tomorrow
    • Good luck on the weekend mate
    • Must have been an absolute nightmare to drive when the power steer was out, the rack ratio/wheel size/caster is all set up for power assistance
    • Welcome to SAU, what are you looking at buying?
    • I checked the injectors again (1 and 2, since they’re easiest to access) to make sure they weren’t clogged. Even though the entire fuel system had been cleaned, I wanted to be certain. Everything looked clean, so I reinstalled and connected everything. When I started the car to confirm everything was okay, it immediately revved up high, so I shut it off straight away. I checked to see if I’d missed a vacuum hose or something, but everything was connected. On the second attempt, the car ran without the high idle, but I noticed a distinct “compressed air” sound coming from the engine bay. Tracing the sound, I pushed injector #6 forward slightly and the noise stopped — it turned out it wasn’t seated properly, despite the fuel rail being bolted down. While holding it in place, the car idled steadily without stalling and ran for over 5 minutes. At this point, I pulled all six injectors out just in case I hadn’t seated them correctly or dirt had gotten onto the O-rings. Unfortunately, I discovered that I had damaged 3 out of 6 injectors (the OEM 270cc ones) during installation. So yes, this was my fault. Since only the pintle caps were damaged, I’ve ordered a Fuel Injector Service Kit from NZEFI to refurbish them. In the meantime, I reinstalled my new injectors – the car now idles fine for over 15 minutes without stalling. I have not attempted to drive it so far. It’s not perfect yet, as it hesitates when the throttle is pressed, but it’s a big improvement. Unplugging the IACV with the new injectors idles at around 800rpm, even with the IACV screw tightened fully. But this is probably due to tune.
