Well everything went great, started at 3pm on Friday. Keil arrived at about 7 abo bob at about 9pm. Engine out at and sump off by midnight. Up early and over ro UAS by 8 drill out the sump return and fit sump baffle into clean sump home by 10. Fit new cam belt and pullies, inspect #6 bottom end bearing, all good. Fatz arrives at 12, beer consumption increase work output decreases. Fit new eng mounts, fuel filter, radiator, plugs, inj seals, camber kit, rotors, pads. Eng back in by 4pm. 9pm eng started and bleed water system . Only issue 3" cat did not fit, looks to be R34.

Great job by everyone. 2cases of beer gone and one ready to track GTR.

kyles a champ isn't he....

Yes he is the man, worked like an animal while faz drank all arvo. Thanks for stripping the TRKBCH. Your offer on the eng hoist is appreciated but its a little too late. I now have the SAU one at my house if anyone needs it.

there was alot of crack dealing doing on at this GTR showdown!

those wife beaters rocked..... and lucky someone remebered to pull the rag out ofthe turbo!

mmmm beer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Perfect work fatz. Leaving rag's inside the inlet and bolting on inlet piping!

Mental note to self, dont let fatz drink and work on the car!

    • Maybe they'll look to do a bunch of presales to help inject some cash fast for their financial issues...
    • Does it also misfire equally when revving?   Josh is very correct in what you should do. The coilpack harness wiring loom itself is a known problem due to its age and the number of heat cycles it has gone through. Throwing parts at a vehicle to diagnose the issue isn't a smart or good way to do it. Secondly, you may have a bad coil pack, you pop replacements in, they fix that issue, but messing with the harness breaks it, so the issue persists. So now you think "well it wasn't the coil packs" and have to continue chasing your tail, potentially swapping back in your shit coil packs and returning the good ones (yes, I've seen people do this because 'it wasn't the problem' and they want to save money). And suddenly, you've got two issues with the same symptoms...   Diagnose, don't use the spare parts shotgun.
