hi all, I have a series 2 r33 for sale. it's a manual, completely stock

and is fully maintained (oil and filter changes every 5000k's) I have a number of reciets showing all the maintenance I have performed on the car. It is my pride and joy and is kept in a garage under a car cover for most of the week except on weekends (I have a company car that I use to work). The car is very healthy as it doesn't use a mm of oil and the oil is still clear when I change it. I have taken it to Willowbank once to see what it would run and I have a time card to prove it ran a 14.4 at 19 deg ambiant temp with a slightly bogged launch (I hate being too harsh on it) the factory figures say it should do a 14.2 so with a proper launch it should achieve that. This proves how healthy the car is.

It's time I bought a house so unfortunately the car has to go but I vow to return to skyline ownership bigger and better (do the words gtr ring a bell).

I live in Brisbane and while I don't have pictures of the car to show you I will drive the car to anywhere in Brisbane to give anyone who is interested a peek.

If your looking for a tidy unmolested skyline that are few and far between or a great base to modify from leave me a email.

It may cost 18 - 19k to import a Spec II , but its not going to be the best example

Plus then you can add on the 3-4k compliance cost for a new RAWS compliance, and then add another 6-700 bucks for new tyres that are not usually included in the compliance cost... plus then you can pay for the 12 months rego that is also not included

Its all starting to add up hey.

So 25k for a nice clean example sounds about right to me, expect these prices to go up due for example :

In SA there used to be 80 Importers that had a licence to do compliance under the old system, now under RAWS there is going to be just 5 in SA... simular trend in other states... now you think the prices are not going to go up??

thanks the for the support guys, if you were to buy one from a dealer there would be a lot to spend on it as no used car is perfect. buying from someone who has maintained the car exhaustively (hence why i need to sell it, no money) makes alot more sense. it is still up for sale, regretably so as recently i went to willowbank to watch the production car championship and the guy that issues the tickets said nice car mate. also it got alot of attention because of its factory colour of metallic grey with a hint of rose in it. i thoroughly enjoyed the day and its these days a have second thoughts about selling it, i am ofcourse negotiable on price.

i meant that ppl with series II should be asking the $26000 etc that they are worth if it is a clean example. but its hard to stick with your value when ppl can import dodgy examples for $18000 etc and still want you to sell yours for the same $$$

no disrespect to you man, i was just saying stick to your guns.

same..

they r nice cars

i wouldnt go below 25 personally

sexy cars

i hate when people say

there worth 18 and shit like that

let them get one in for 18.. it would be one in suh a ****ed condition it wouldnt be funny

you get what u payed for

i baught a 1995 gtst for 23,000 people told me it was to much.. but.. it was the smoothest car i have ever driven and i have never ever had 1 problem with it.. and im happy what i baught

and it ran a 14.1 stock.. so im over da mood

    • It's funny, as Ive seen plenty of people use them in cheap builds on YT. And they actually go okay, even though a lot of other maxspeedingrods stuff is terrible. Those turbos seem reliable enough, the only part being, a good quality turbo that is "identical" to it, will out perform it day in and day out. In both a lower boost threshold, and the ability to flow more air at the same boost pressure. As a cheap cheap replacement, not a terrible choice. For cheap and shouldn't blow in a day, not terrible (like other eBay/Temu turbos) for low cost and still decent performance, that's where the question comes in to play from the results I've seen. I'd actually find it hilarious to buy one, and strap it to a paddock basher or some other cheap as POS originally NA car, and send it to the moon!
    • The maxpeedingrods turbo is cheap and bolts on to stock parts. I think you just need a bigger silicone coupler for the intake. Its a cheap china turbo, but it's been running on mine for almost 3 years at 16-19 psi.
    • What do they look like right after you've tried to start it with everything connected? Also post photos of what they actually look like.
    • Also wanted to say, my new spark plugs are blackened looks like it's very rich. I have splitfire coilpacks but stock coilpack loom and ignitor. I tried directly grounding the ignitor ground to body as well.
