BTW about 10 mins to swap them out.

You guys need to get a work ethic.

nick off geoff. ur concept of how long things take leads me to believe that either a) u dont look at the clock when u work on cars or b) u have nfi

:/

10 years as a rapid combat repair mechanic. It's training and knowledge.

People only make it hard for themselves.

Could have spent 1 hour sourcing parts, fabricating a resistor pack and fitting it. But they are better off in my race car anyway.

We have a saying. 5 minutes of thought can save many foot pounds of effort.

Sigh!. Oh well, whats another week or so. My bad, When i bought the injectors i had no intentions of running the pfc because of the price gouging that was happenning, Thanks to Mike and his old man george i got the pfc at a way good price and promptly forgot about the injector impedence.

Gotta love old brain cells. ;)

Resistor pack will not work anyway. He already has Low Impedance...you don't wanna go lower.

Sard injector collars only leak when installed incorrectly and are only used on side feed injectors. Noel has converted to top feed.

Hey Noel, does Petey's sms still apply or have you sourced the injectors you need?

BTW I decided to run the GT51R on mine now. Can't be outdone by some old codger with a large cheque book ;)

Dan low impedance is the resistor value of the injectors mate. Not enough resistor means that more current can flow through the circuit and can fry the injector drivers in the PFC, or even the stock computer so Noel is pretty lucky not to have a nasty bill as well.

I'll slap the multimeter on tomorrow and see exactly what they ar in comparison to rb26 and 25 injectors.

Sorry my bad.

I have had a long week.

haha...yeh you guys are suckers...as if you would work two jobs or maybe even have a hobby or two that takes up all your free time...

Dan once i work out a sweet and easy to make dry sump pump bracket i reckon we should put abit more serious effort into this project.

I also need to work out a better way for welding the sump pan without it warping so much, but without being insanely time consuming.

We will talk in the near future mate...........ding ding ding and bling bling bling....i like the sound of money.

    • This sounds like someone who would have owned an R33 in their past... It's okay, I'm 100% picking up what you're putting down Mark.
    • Just back on what was raised about jacking off the the tow/tie down point on the front of cars. I've used it plenty. I've also watched it on a car where you could see it move the front end of the car. It was like the front end/whole car being tweaked and twisted a bit. I will say, I struggle to find good jacking points on MOST cars. The ones that have good points, I then normally struggle to find a jack tall enough to make the car change height!   One of my go to points for either the jack, or the axel stands though, is either a suspension pickup point, OR a subframe to chassis major bolting point. I actually think its the subframe on my R33 that has a bit of a bend in it, from being jacked in the middle too. However, it could have been one of my many other cars I've had over the years! Or it could also be the from me jacking it up, and the fact the top of the front radiator support isn't there, so it can allow the front of the car to move and bend etc.
    • My apologies. I forgot we were talking about weird beard M series stuff. Had been talking elsewhere with someone about an R33 with similar subject and got confused.
    • Nope, I don't like the look of ND RF, or any ND really, I don't like their faces or arses, why, because of their "modern" lines, the NC, whilst "modernish" has a more rounded shape that I like Well, that's how my overly judgemental eyes see it anyway
    • Should be more than fine, especially the overall fuel pressure would never exceed 3.5bar (assuming that thing never gets more than 0.5bar of boost in stock form). According to the chart, it's 11amps.
