Hi there Yudy, translation for allsuc please? Never mind, was wondering if you had the full specs on turbos supplied ex Autech with your 260? Have you looked into this at all?

compressor/housing

turbine/housing

bearings

kw @ bar?

Like Ken (Rbnt)said oush it to one bar and it will be like my rig!! :laughing-smiley-014:

Now all components for the 260rs apart from fuel tank, body parts and interior are all actually R33GTR. yep EVERYTHING is a std R33GTR. Engine, clutch, brakes, transmission, front suspensions and of course the turbos. So i suggest you get a R33GTR workshop manual they are the same. I hope this helps.

I was a bit confused at first what the 260rs actually is. IT IS A R33GTR with a wagon styled body.

As for the balck 260rs, i dont know wheter its a genine S2 or not/ Cos the sterring wheel doesnt have an air bag or im blind. Mine its a 4 spoke MOMO leather steering wheel. So....

Looks like they've taken the standard Stagea wheel off and replaced it with an R34 GTR wheel - it's still got an air bag in it tho.

Just saw this thread strangely enough considering I'm often lurking through this section.... bought the car nearly 3 years ago and can't bring myself to part with it - such an awesome car!! Handles better than my 34GTR, no lie! Love 260RS'!!!! :P

I've had the car for 3 years and to be honest I have my ups and downs with it (mostly because it's too heavy and I want a GTR). Having said that, I'm currently having a renewed love for the car. In the past couple of weeks I've loaded the following things into that car: a longboard, steel (up to 2.4m), 20 bags of cement, pavers, kit surfing gear and regularly my dog. In those same 2 weeks I've done a few highway runs and hit Mt Nebo a few times and had an absolute blast. Not too many cars can be loaded nearly as much as a ute, but then hit the hills and be an absolute ball to drive. Dunno where I'd be without that car lately...

Mine's not a "real" 260RS (I'm a convert...), But I have to say, it's the best, fastest, most underrated car I've owned... They're not a cheap thing to maintain, these Rb26s, but I wouldn't trade it for anything short of my dream Porsche, so it'll be with me for a while yet... ;)

I have 1.1998 in Black/Blue pearl (kj6z)

I love it, very practical and handeling is superb (coilovers & nizmo sway bars)

Drives a dream & everyone always ask's "mate what is it"?

Currently for sale on the "for sale" forum here and on carsales.

Dont wanna sell it but its just sitting around and could use the dosh.

Anyone wanting a nice clean Autech 260 RS check it out.

    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
    • Any going to watch World Time Attack at SMSP this year?
    • Appreciate the correction on the "ground", that will make a huge difference to looking at this. That makes complete sense about AF70/AF71 which is what I had come down to being the issue, one of these. I'll have another look in the ignition wiring when I get a chance next week. I'll also make up a jumper wire for running that AF73 test.  ECU is fine, relay itself is fine, pump harness is fine and the pump itself is fine. I am going to upgrade the Walbro 255 anyway with a DW300 I have since I need to replace the fuel sender and I'm going to upgrade the FPR with my chasebays kit ready for new plenum/injectors/dbw, but I'll get this working first. That's why this is so frustrating.
