...We started as Team Gatecrasher, Team Bin It, Team Flat Spots, Team Whatever, we had fun ...

Damn, almost had it! I wonder where i went wrong. :(

Thanks a mint for the pics, and 100% agree. We did have fun! :laughing-smiley-014:

...oh, and now i have seen those pics. Sorry about the flat spot. We always knew it was going to be my doing :P

well troy jamezilla told me you have a bit of a flat spot in bed too which is why I stopped answering your calls all those years ago. now if only I could get snowman to return mine.... :P

I better start building a car!! :P

Round 1 in VIC sounds fantastic, that means i'll get some merchandise that actually fits me, when vic is the last round they never have any small shirts, jumpers or jackets left!!

:PGoes looking for 3rd co-driver in 3 years

Brisby, I am more than happy to co pilot the silver bullet again, I have a date with destiny at Sandown & Winton with the silver bullet, PB!! And we owe Ryan and Jarrod an absolute beating at the next one!

That car is the coolest!! I love it! It's a bit of a handful though, well that's the perception anyway!

You make the call and I'll start getting sponsors! :D

Oh and my car is already half dead (just the passenger side), it's a long story!

I'll have it back soon and i'm thinking of upgrading to a new car...

But, but...its like Sept 2007???? Dont entries open 3 days before the event and scrutineering only 11 hours before the start of the event ????

Count me in....just have to get the pesky Sil80 back so we can TAKE WHAT IS RIGHTFULLY OURS!! Of course there is the small matter of that other car that beat us as well. Actually , not a single car out there beat us...we beat ourselves :D

GTR FTW!

I better find some motivation to pull my engine out and fix my diff/sump then.

Some casual observations about GTR drivers. They wear velcro shoes. They use electric tooth brushes. They use clip on ties. They prefer the coitus interruptus method rather then slipping on jerry.

There isnt much about anything they do that doesnt involve a shortcut or a leg up. So why when it comes to driving woudl you bother putting the front diff back together? Surely the easy/lazy approach would be to just drive the thing in rwd

BTW - for those interested to know just how bad the clutch was in the Vantage...

You can see the heat scoring on both sides of the flywheel and just a shadow of the former clutch. The clutch itself dissolved into dust.

Ooops.

Yes. maybe...

We will find sponsors, whether it be through lies and deception, or simply from our stunning good looks, we will have more stickers than you!!!

    • Oh, also, forgot to add these photos I believe.
    • Thought i'd update on this. I was able to get in contact with Craig Lieberman and later on Darryl Alison (owner of Kaizo Industries). Darryl was able to help me verify that my car was in fact one of theirs and is helping me find more info on mine !
    • There's restrictor pills in the stock boost control hoses. That's how they set the amount that was bled off and hence the "high" boost setting. The usual mod in the day was to remove it and send the "high" boost setting up to about 14 psi.
    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
