Sounds great - Definately in, although I am away with work alot I'll be there for everything I can be! We could also incorporate an SAUSA shirt/sticker into the membership price? I'd be willing to pay $50 - $60 bucks for the year if this was the case - any others keen?

Here here! A standard polo or T would work! and possibly a common sticker! likewise with the payment $50-$60 would be no skin off my nose!

Obviously Cubes i'd put my hand up to help as much as i can.......

Guys and gals, lets not talk dollars, or what free gift you should get (how about some steak knifes?).

It's way too early in the game for that, I'm certain what ever price that's arrived at will be the minimum necessary amount, for the moment lets see if we can get the wheels rolling in earnest first.

Cubes

If you get it all off the ground I would be interested too.

Like evil34 I was also on the committee of SVD, and I still have a lot of the paperwork from the club, there may be some information in there they could be helpful to you. If you think it could help you just send me a PM

Best advice would be to run about 6 months of events and meetings before you get too serious just make sure that the interest is there. You don’t want to have meetings if only the committee is turning up.

Simon

whats the likely hood we can get the basics sorted like CAMS affiliation and basically thats it and get the core of SAU in and then sort out sponsorship and stuff like that for our 2nd year of running

ive already spoken with a trader and he is happy to sponsor SAU but is doesn't suit all people but thats going to be the case for different sponsors depending on where there located, and this sponsor ship was for something else but i know he means all things like this also

    • Ha ha ha, that's fair mate! We have the crackhead dogs now. Mainly because the missus wants the crazy dogs while she still has the energy and capacity to be able to keep up with them! Ha ha our current two are both Working GSD, there brothers and sisters (from the same litters) are in Police, Corrective Services, and I believe one did end up in defence force too. They're wild and fun, yet right now, both curled up asleep on the lounge room floor while we watch some TV. Mal is very likely the next dog (unless I get my couch potato guardian dog 😛 )   What are your Kitties names? Are you planning some house work, like those high kitty shelves, built in scratching post, and some cat passages from one room to another room?
    • Maine Coone, did look at but to big and fluffy As for performance dogs, we had Mals at work, performance dogs are fun to watch, but, way to much work for this old rooster
    • Yep, it was only an option on the Q50 Hybrid.  Same in Japan as far as I know. And doesn't use a centre diff like the Suby's do, so not the same as the WRX.  But it also isn't a reactive AWD like other Nissan AWD vehicles are, eg. Murano/Xtrail/etc.
    • You should have got a Maine Coone then. Only thing is they're big. But so cool, and just like a dog. Or, just get yourself a high performance dog. That'll teach you for wanting Parkour indoors 😛
    • Are you thinking of Bens R32? I don't remember if his went through the bonnet itself, but it went through the chassis rail. Brad (RISKIN) bought it, and turned it into a track car. It's funny how anti people are of Jim Berry now. I remember when I pulled mine out (during an engine change) and inspected it and found it cracking badly. At that point in time so many people were even on SAU, were so pro Jim Berry, and that was after Bens GTR exploded his quite publically.
