Interior is pretty easy to intsall yourself plus theres a lot of threads about installing dash seats etc. If wires are ripped apart, just find some one wrecking a r33 and get the original wires.

Whats with all the skylines getting stolen??????

hmm .....is the battery still connected? If the car hasn't burned down and all the fuses are intact you are off to a good start.

basically, get a mate who knows how to use a multimeter to check out the wiring. obviously all the aftermarket stuff isn't needed so just focus on the factory wiring.

you don't really want to take it to a workshop if its a real mess and you are on a budget, it could take hours to days to fix and that can really add up.

as long as the BOV is sealed again it should start ok...is anything else missing?

yeh the battery is still connected

and the fuses seem fine..

only thing is

car has been sitting in rain, hail and shine with no bonnet, boot, or passenger window

so thats why i was a bit hesitant on starting it.

looks like this week im guna try and trace all the wires

and see where they go

thanks for the helpp!

Take the coil cover off and check to make sure there's no puddle of water collected there.

Something doesn't sound right here.

Given the market value of an R33 GTS-T, and the amount of stuff stolen, as well as water and other damage incurred, im surprised it was not classed as a write off by the insurance company.

If you were indeed comprehensively insured, your car should have been towed to a repairer, as GTST pointed out above, and you should only have been 'picking it up' when ALL repairs were fully completed and the car was like new.

hey guys.

sorry for not reply for so long.

im currently renting and im on a unwired connection.

and it sucks donkey balls badly.

110 a month, and i can connect like once a week.

well anyways back to my car.

i had just cars, third party fire and theft.

which covers me up to 10k

...

my car was deemed a repairable writeoff

so therefore just cars

gave me the option

of

a: a total payout

b: a total payout plus my car, less the salvage value of the vehicle

...

i culdnt bare to leave my baby at that.

so

yeh i took the car back

yeah someone who could do a bodge job of fixing it, if they had the tools and know how, to fix it up.

doesn't sound like our mate here has either of those two things (no offence).

a 'cheap fix' exercise will end up more $$ in the bin than taking the pay out...

Is the wiring chopped or has everything just been unplugged?

If chopped just buy a 2nd hand complete wiring harness that will make it much easier to fix and probably only take an afternoon of your time to fit.

    • Don't even try to run it on the stock ECU if you're going to have the boost controller bring boost above ~10 psi. I've already told you that. If you use the Nistune ECU, you will need to CAREFULLY read the available documentation for Neo tuning, and read some threads on the Nistune forums, to discover the various things you have to do to prevent the ECU from going bananas when the boost is too high. The is a table associated with th boost sensor that must be modified to prevent it from shitting the bed. This is just one of the things that you will need to do to the tune in Nistune, because the Neo turbo ECU will be expecting to see a number of things (such as the TCS) that are not there, and you have to block the DTCs on those. It is totally not surprising to me that you are having the problems that you are, but the solutions to these problems have been known for >15 years. So just get it done.
    • Hi. Sry iam not a mechanic and iam not at the car atm so i dont know 100% but they told they measure those and even try to change those. AFM they have two. Coils are new a they have my old one too. Plugs too. ECU...we have 25 NEO stock and Nistune 25 NEO.   But i dont know if any one those could be the problem and why/if/what can cause this, Only thing they did not check is fuel...but that walbro 255 is new(like 1,5 years)... That fuel pressure gauge idk...but i let them know Any suggestions?   EDIT: how can they know if it is like you say he ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high? Tha car has boost controler
    • Can you clarify what you mean by boost cut, do you mean it misfires both when under load (driving) and when stationary and out of gear? Or does the ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high (boost control issue)? Does it occur at idle with no throttle? When you say "the ECU is OK", what ECU is it and why do you think it is OK? Have you used the NEO ECU, and if so do you have a MAP sensor attached? Same for the AFM, why do you think it is OK? Do you have any way to put a fuel pressure gauge on it (even just a mechanical one between the fuel filter and fuel rail)?
