dam i got some shit news today!

remember a few weeks ago my great grandma died from a heart attack?

well, my pop (her son) had a heart attack today...

this shit has really made me think about my life style, having a big family history of heart problems

i cant afford to live an un-healthy lifestyle anymore!!!

get active people!!

my pop is all good, @ 63 he still full of life!

first thing he asked when i walked upto his hospital bed was '' you gettin any?'' lol

makes ya think ay.

yeah im finally home Craig, flew into Melbourne on Sunday night and was back here on Monday

it was quite a experience over there especially the way they live......makes me proud 2 be an Aussie

simon spoke to me about the price before i went overseas and said he'll do me a great price coz im a good customer and have sent several friends of mine to him, i was quite happy with his price

good, he seems to only really enjoy working on loyal customers rides imo

as time went on he slowly began to remember me ang give me decent prices etc.

his work is quality though. when i was having trouble with

me 33 he was always happy to chat bout it over the phone.

ill def. take my next line there.

we did have a s2 stag in japland that the gf actually really liked! but sold before auction

i was pissed!

then we looked at ruby's s1, but she doesnt like them without the kit and it has to be black....

so we have just put the car thing on hold for a while, till after our gold coast holiday in feb etc

will be in another import soon-ish.

i bought the UFC boxed set 1-75 in vietnam for just $36

    • They are under bucket shims. Tomei provides a test shim kit and then any measurement of shim required. 
    • I always wondered how you were supposed to buy a set of 24 buckets and somehow magically have every single one of them yield exactly the desired clearance. I would have thought you'd need to assemble a cam with either 12 "sample" or "example" buckets of known top thickness (or a single such sample/example 12 times over!!) measure clearances at every valve, and then do the usual math to work out what the actual "shimness" of each bucket needed to be, before buying the required buckets to make up he thicknesses that you didn't have on hand.
    • I now seem to be limited in power due to my rev limit/hydraulic lifters in my built RB25. I'm looking into converting over to Tomei solid lifters. Question for anyone that has done the conversion. I was always under the impression that when using the Tomei solid lifter conversion, you would also require new valves (Longer or shorter stems, I can't remember which).  I don't know where I got this idea, as so far I see no mention of this in any of the Tomei documentation. It just states I need the Tomei solid buckets, solid lifter cams and upgraded springs. As my head is already built, all I would need is another set of 1000$ Kelford cams, 500$ buckets and about 4H hours of my time installing and I'm off to the races!?!? There's no way it's that simple, I must be missing something? 
    • I couldn't agree more. I should have started from the get-go with a NEO or solid bucket conversion. I started looking into converting over to solid lifters yesterday.
