i had a run with one of those and a vn ss lol. was pretty surprised at its speed too. not the vn tho... all piss n wind

7M's didnt have the right torque figures for the head from factory tighten them down a little more (there is info on the net somewhere) and its all sweet

with one of these

hahahah

yeah i had it tourqued down pretty damn tight, way over the factory spec.

7ms just have a habit of heating up alot around piston 5 n 6. in the end the block was munted (it had made a chanel between one of the water galleries and the 6th piston) so there was no chance some more twist could have saved it.

it now has a 1J in it  .... wish it was still mine

spotted the black 33 with 34 front and flames down the side roll past the skate park at salisbury. looked to have a for sale sign in the window and a gtr badge at the back :( i was sure that thing was a gts

Thats EMS 334. My bus goes past his house every day, he has a new silver R33 GTR on trade plates too, and there was a rubbed-down R34 under sheets there a few weeks ago.

Went out north thru Salisbury, 'Lidabeth and Craigmore on the bike yesterday. :P

Man there are so many wankers who think they can drag off a bike :P Getting tired of it. Maybe my brother can move back down closer to the city again.

Yeah. I dunno how they can charge $1200 ea when I'll have the housings already removed and give them turbos.... put them back in thru someone else.... if i get this pair of blown gtr turbos and steel wheel em, it'll be regency friendly, but i cant be stuffed paying $1200 ea when I can get 2860-7's from ISC for around that price NEW

Had a quick look at RB26 results: try this

18psi with high flowed steel wheels = 280 odd kws

18psi with -5s = 316kws .........

Only had a quick look - maybe there are others making more power on high flow steel wheels?? Post em up if you find them.....

Im running N1's in my GTR at the moment im making 296rwkws with stock injectors/afm's/fuel pump/fpr. They're great nice and responsive and the only problem i have with them at the moment is once of the oil seals has gone so i just bought a set of N1's that have just been completely rebuilt and will be fitting them soon. I was gonna get the Garretts but these came up and i have less chance of problems if i have to go to regency

    • Got the passenger door on plus the master cylinder and booster. Loaded up to take it home. At home, the colour changes a lot in the light.
    • Nothing cheap, but I have seen the AC Hydraulic DK13HLQ which is pretty close to what you're asking for. The problem is the hydraulic cylinder mandates that the back of the jack be a certain height and Skylines have fairly deep inset floor jack points. A more certain and cheap option is to get some nominal 2x10 inch lumber boards and have one board be 1.5 feet, the other board 3 feet. Glue it all together with lots of clamps to maintain pressure. Make two of these. The ramp suggested above is a good idea, it takes quite a bit of clutch slip to get over each of the boards. I only need the first ~1.5 inches for my low profile jack on a standard ride height car but a lowered car you want to go up to the full ~3-3.5 inches. Paint it or store indoors if you want it to last.
    • Ok. And Nistune? I read (here too) mainly on Stagea threads that it can by "turn off" with Nistune. But they say they still had the sensor plug in. Next week iam going to the Nistune(and other ECUs) tuner so i can finally make it work. I drove the car home and apart from the cut it drove great. No misfire no smoke no hesitation or rough start...so hoping it is this sensor that is missing
    • I just stack 2 pieces of 200x50 timber on top of each other. Total length about 900mm, with the top one being a little shorter and both having a 45° angle cut on them to make the front edge a bit of a ramp. Put these in front of each front wheel, drive up on them, throw the trolley jack under. Takes 1 minute. Scissor jacks can eat a bowl of dicks. I never use on under my car unless desperate.
