I think you'll take back that statement once it's been rebuilt...

MAYBE.

its just finding someone to build it and finding a job that doesnt require a car so that i can raise more money

how sad , my race weapon is my daily , ha!

im gonna kick myself for suggesting someone else actually do this,

but have you considered applying at the casino, mitch? weve got pretty high staff turnover at the moment, so were constantly hiring and training new staff, first few weeks sucks with no pay (training, not sue how thats changing with the eb's), but once youre through that, its close to $20 an hour, for as many hours a week as you want...

most croupier jobs are no exp necessary. but theres main cage cashiers, security, gaming machines, valet parking, anything related to food and bev, just jump on the website and fire off some apps, its shit work, but if you need quick money, well...

cheers dave , will give it some consideration

i dont like em. lol unless they are the cafe primo ones lol

lol Your not alone Cara, I cant stand pancakes either, gut bombs!!!! :)

give me waffles anyday..lol :O

and Damo my R34 front lip goes into production in a few weeks , all CF and fully functional venting..?

be up for some orders after a checking the arc on another front bar? cost TBD but hell of a lot cheaper then Nengun and better venting.

hope to have it done for the show and shine

know this is not that wanted section but nobody reads it anyway,

by any chance anyone got any 6" or 6.5" speaker covers, like just the plastic covers, my stock skyline ones have broken to pieces :) dont really want ugly holes there (Y).

will pay for them, just don't have to cash to do my sound system.

Hey,

Does anyone know how to get the faded stuff off the headlights when its on the inside? I use cut and polish to make them clear on the outside but one of them must have had mosture on the inside at some stage....

Cheeeeeers

Penny,do you have a photo of it?

it has a broken seal and needs to be removed and split apart to fix properly, dont attempt unless your confident in repairs, very fragile and expensive to replace if done wrong!!

to fix them to perfection use aircraft windscreen polish, or megulars m105 works pretty good to rid the haze followed by plastic polish.deeper scratches can be sanded out with 2000grit wet sanding followed by the above.

to dry them pop out a globe and use a heat gun or hair dryer on low heat, then put the globe back in.

hope that helps

I swear u guys dont know what you're missing. Some pancake recipes are shite (and dont even compare instant pancakes to the real shit).... you get a good recipe for home made french crepes, you wont be going to work that day...

waffles are cool too but i'd rate a good crepe/pancake over waffles anyday. sounds like u guys have been eating pikelets instead ;D

pretty sure i have some, silver with a cross pattern no mesh . free to a good home

or i would suggest any car audio shop, they normally have boxes under the workbench overflowing with them?

pancakes and pikelets, both foul..lol

my grandma makes some pancakes with 7/up or mtn dew in them. the bubbles make the pancakes thin and slightly crispy when they pop while cooking. much better then thick pasty doughy ones. some old fossil recipe but still not that crash hot on pancakes.

man thats just lazy, shes using the soda in place of bicarb ;\ disgusting

a good pancake is rubbery and flexible... light but not aerated.... when u put salt and aeration into a pancake it becomes a pikelet (and i find them damn near inedible)...

imho the thinner the better - thick, aerated pikelets are like uncooked bread, which is a total degustation misnomer

    • For once a good news  It needed to be adjusted by that one nut and it is ok  At least something was easy But thank you very much for help. But a small issue is now(gearbox) that when the car is stationary you can hear "clinking" from gearbox so some of the bearing is 100% not that happy... It goes away once you push clutch so it is 100% gearbox. Just if you know...what that bearing could be? It sounding like "spun bearing" but it is louder.
    • Yeah, that's fine**. But the numbers you came up with are just wrong. Try it for yourself. Put in any voltage from the possible range and see what result you get. You get nonsense. ** When I say "fine", I mean, it's still shit. The very simple linear formula (slope & intercept) is shit for a sensor with a non-linear response. This is the curve, from your data above. Look at the CURVE! It's only really linear between about 30 and 90 °C. And if you used only that range to define a curve, it would be great. But you would go more and more wrong as you went to higher temps. And that is why the slope & intercept found when you use 50 and 150 as the end points is so bad halfway between those points. The real curve is a long way below the linear curve which just zips straight between the end points, like this one. You could probably use the same slope and a lower intercept, to move that straight line down, and spread the error out. But you would 5-10°C off in a lot of places. You'd need to say what temperature range you really wanted to be most right - say, 100 to 130, and plop the line closest to teh real curve in that region, which would make it quite wrong down at the lower temperatures. Let me just say that HPTuners are not being realistic in only allowing for a simple linear curve.
    • I feel I should re-iterate. The above picture is the only option available in the software and the blurb from HP Tuners I quoted earlier is the only way to add data to it and that's the description they offer as to how to figure it out. The only fields available is the blank box after (Input/ ) and the box right before = Output. Those are the only numbers that can be entered.
    • No, your formula is arse backwards. Mine is totally different to yours, and is the one I said was bang on at 50 and 150. I'll put your data into Excel (actually it already is, chart it and fit a linear fit to it, aiming to make it evenly wrong across the whole span. But not now. Other things to do first.
    • God damnit. The only option I actually have in the software is the one that is screenshotted. I am glad that I at least got it right... for those two points. Would it actually change anything if I chose/used 80C and 120C as the two points instead? My brain wants to imagine the formula put into HPtuners would be the same equation, otherwise none of this makes sense to me, unless: 1) The formula you put into VCM Scanner/HPTuners is always linear 2) The two points/input pairs are only arbitrary to choose (as the documentation implies) IF the actual scaling of the sensor is linear. then 3) If the scaling is not linear, the two points you choose matter a great deal, because the formula will draw a line between those two points only.
